A regular game walkthrough/ Let's Play Channel with a decently charismatic host (i.e. interesting to listen to), but occasionally the player, once every few episodes, will start going off on strange tangents. Eventually, he starts to sound like he's talking to nobody. Later, these talks escalate into full blown arguments with, again, apparently nobody, before he gets back on track. These arguments eventually lead to sections where the player leaves the game running, and you hear shouting in the background occasionally something breaks. Full on screaming, yelling arguments. These are rare and periodic enough that you could ignore them entirely and just watch the stream for the regular content, but it gets increasingly uncomfortable to do so. Eventually, the player will start babbling conspiracy theories during play. They'll talk about how they're being watched, how others are controlling their life, etc.

And then, the last stream, everything seems normal. The player is in a good mood. and is playing a pretty great game. The last few streams, he seems to have been getting better. Then, you hear it. A knocking. The first time it happens, the player stops talking. Then he starts up again, his voice a little shaky. This goes on for a minute, before the knocking starts again, louder and angrier. The player tries to ignore it again and carry on. This goes on for some time, the player's resolve weakening, until he's practically crying. He stops playing the game, his mewling incomprehensible against the backdrop of hammering against a door somewhere. It all goes quiet. The door unlatches, and opens. The stream ends. The channel stops uploading.

Pretty good. As a fellow creator i do my best to look for things to criticize so that person can better their skills, but your videos are pretty tight. They're entertaining and focused. There's nothing really specific I can say on what to improve but If you keep making videos regularly I think you'll naturally improve bit by bit in subtle ways to the point where you're throwin out bangers every time.

Not so much critique of the video itself but of the channel in general. Format of the videos are solid but heavily dependent on the content. I can see the well of obscure Japanese TV and Anime running dry eventually. Maybe slowly branch out a little? Like do one video a month of something different just so if you run out of shows to do all your viewers aren't going to up and leave.

This happens a lot to youtubers that over specialize in things that don't have a lot of content.

Maybe instead of just doing one video on Vanilla make it on multiple types of DOOM? It's a pretty rare thing for anyone to seek out information on vanilla DOOM alone. Giving information on multiple versions would be the most helpful, that way the viewer can make an informed decision on which DOOM is right for them.

The thing about obscure Japanese games is a lot of youtubers are actually into that. you COULD go real deep and look into old doujin games. Stuff that was released at cons and might not have been uploaded. What could be interesting but something I have zero insight into would be other Asian countries obscure games/bootlegs.

I'm pretty sure my account is flagged somewhere in the system. I got 5000 subs but average around 100 views pr video. Do they really not show up in peoples feed?

Vids do pop up in peoples feed but it's not a 100% guaranteed anymore. It's more dependent on how many views you get. The more views the more likely it is you'll pop up, even for your own subs.

Not him but because it's fun? Not everything has to be about success. Plus zero effort has never mattered on youtube. Most of the top youtubers make zero effort garbage everyday.

When people say this sort of stuff I'm always so baffled. I always get my subscribed videos like normal. The only expection to that is sometimes, very rarely, a whole lot doesnt appear, but even those appear after few hours at most.

Hmm, well who knows how youtubes magic algorithm works. I guess some people get their subs and others don't. Some people I sub to I almost never see in the feed when their new video goes live.
