Depends on the extinguisher. There's different types of extinguishers to combat different types of fire. You can't, for example, use an extinguisher designed to put out class A fires on a class B fire. It's probably just going to make things worse.

The only place I've read anything about the door being locked or unlocked is on Yea Forums, so I think we just don't know. None of the articles that I've read have talked about if the door was locked, but they have mentioned the pile of 19 bodies on the staircase between the 3rd floor and the roof. After the first few people went down on the stairs, everybody after them probably couldn't see due to the smoke and tripped over them, likely ruining any chance they had to make it to the door in time.

Everyday i think about possible situations happening around me and how i will solve it.
