There's nothing necessarily wrong with super powerful superheroes. It's like with Superman who's at his best when he's fighting something that actually poses a threat to him. They need to do that with Captain Marvel.

Just saying that if it wasn't the current political climate she wouldn't be as powerful as she is now. Not saying she wasn't before, just that she is even more powerful now. At least Marvel still tries to keep their power creeps somewhat bearable compared to DC.

And I don't really like how Superman is almost always a plot gimmick either, having an infinitely powerful character just makes it so the stakes are non-existent, which in turn makes reading the comics extremely boring. Not saying Superman as a character is bad, but I really dislike the way most writers use him. I agree with you that some of the comics that pit these insanely powerful characters against each other can be really good though.
Every time I read a comic where Superman shows up makes me wonder what that Rocksteady game would be like, hopefully we'll still get it someday.

Ms. Marvel has always been stupidly strong with power absorption, super strength, durability, and binary over charge shit. Only thing thats changed is that she is more family friendly and lost anything that made her interesting.

The MCU is a completely different universe and have different plotlines. In the comics, it's Antman that create Ultron, in the movies, it's Tony and Bruce that created him. I would talk about how Wanda and Quicksilver are mutants, but they are currently retconning that right now as we speak.
