Is that a tank build or something?

1 is such a piece of shit. How the fuck did B team fuck up so bad to create such a soulless piece of garbage compared to Demon's? Thankfully they fixed most of the issues for 2, but then regressed again with the garbage that was 3.

I unironically like 2 better than 1 and 3.

>defending this garbage
yikes

The only people who like 3 are the ones who had it as their first Souls game.

Why is From simultaneously fucking great and absolutely awful with hitboxes? Every souls game has really fucked up "shockwave" hitboxes but then you have that attack that misses the top of your head by an inch and you actually don't take damage

To this day I can't believe people defend poise

What's the most overpowered cheesy pve build? Looking to get all the trophies in in two runs

Heavy armor + ultra greatsword

It'a almost like the games are made by many different designers working together on a deadline and not one hivemind intelligence with infinite time

Tank? Like putting everything on end and vit plus str to wield?

yeah well it's almost like you're a nigger

I actually agree with this, not that 1 didn't have good additions or anything, but they handled them badly. (Covenants, branching exploration) Meanwhile the things Demon's Souls did well were pretty much dropped, like character build balance and management. It wasn't until 2 that the series pvp was worth a shit at all, so that's reason alone to look on it favourably.

there are nearly no garbage "shockwave" shitboxes in dark souls 3 and sekiro unless you want to be anal and include the grabs/perilous attacks

I'm not how you can say that when it has the least amount of weapons and the worst spells in the game. I got Sunlight Spear and quit right then for how awful it was.

What is your broken build?

Basically
>Get the Zweihander +15(has a pancake and sweeping attack)
>Dump points in STR and a few in DEX to wield
>Get Giant’s Armor +5(highest physical DEF in the game)
>Keep dumping STR to hard cap
>By time you get to the four kings you should be hitting for 700-800 two handed R2
>NG+ you should be hitting for 1200+ two handed R2

>2 pvp
>all early game builds are the same because of limited gear
>mid game is the best point to experiment with stuff but nobody ever stops at the ideal levels for pvp
>all late game builds are the same because of muh meta

Sekiro 100% cures the series of that by giving precise instructions on avoiding specific attacks.
If anything weird happens you just misread which attack was coming and can correct next time. You aren't left in the dark.

All of this shit is turned up to 11 in DS2, and absent from DS3 though.

The main difference is that you want to be hit by 90% of attacks (parry and Mikiri), so generous hitboxes are in your favor more often than not.

What are you talking about? There's so much avaible gear in the first twenty minutes of the game I can't even keep track of it all, and you can acquire at least one of every weapon type besides Greatbow after beating Persuer in Scholars.

>Get Giant’s Armor +5(highest physical DEF in the game)
This shit takes ages, using stone and havel's is way better unless you're literally farming. BKS or BKH are also better, especially early on, if you manage to get them.

Good point.

I really hope they don't expect me to go back to rolling around (at the speed of sound) in Elden Ring.

You said that and now someone is going to post those DSIII WebMs again.

Farming is stupid easy in the room before Seath. Twinkling Titanite is arguably the easiest titanite to farm.

Can I overpower with the mlgs?

For quickness sure stone or havel’s is good but for longevity giants is still better
BKS and BKGS are good but aren’t guaranteed so you either need to save scum or wait until endgame to farm the Kiln knights
