People wanted Geno since Melee. Yeah, he's the protagonist. Cave Story is the original indie game as we know them, and it has a ton of ports on Nintendo systems. It's the game the term "Metroidvania" comes from and it still holds up nicely. People don't give it enough credit these days, and usually go for Shovel Knight. And Shantae for some reason.
