The torpedo is worse.

Suction Bombs, Balloons, and the regular bombs are the way to go. Anything else is a waste of a slot.

It inks a lot, and you can store the charge.
It's not quite as deadly as other bombs, but it can auto-pop a Bubbler.

I keep getting curious about Splatoon. Is it too late to get into it now? Could I buy Splat2n and still be able to play for a long time in multiplayer, or should I just wait for a Splatoon 3?

Apparently Splatoon 3 isn't even in development right now. If you get it now you've missed out on the Splatfest but you can still get a lot out of the game from the single player, Octo expansion, and the long road to rank X. The online won't be dead by any means anytime soon.

It'll be another 2-3 years before the sequel hit, at least that's the thought. This event is just the last of its kind, but the game will continue to get balance patches as needed. There's still plenty to do and play if you like a mindless simple arena shooter, and the DLC chapter is one of the best Nintendo's done.

Up to you, but I'd say go for it. Just know that coming in now puts you up against a community that is pretty well armed in this game, so don't let the level numbers intimidate you. Improve through losing.

No reason to use it. Marks somebody for a few seconds and that's it. Maybe if they took increased damage or something it'd be worth it, or you got special for the amount of people you marked; but it's a complete downgrade from an actual bomb.

Shit, you can still play Splatoon 1 and find a match. Except there it's nothing but hacking autists and the Japanese.

Why the fuck is nobody using the Ballpoint? I'm nearing 2400 power, I've won 2 100x, dozen 10x, and I have literally not seen a single other one.

well, my personal favorite is the vanilla sploosh. Still, I believe its the weakest weapon currently. So I wouldn't recommend using it. You can still play is fairly well (if you are good) up to mid X. But the weaknesses get overwhelming the more you reach skill ceiling.

Also... doesn't help that Nintendos solution to balancing problems is to "throw more junk on the pile". Dualies were always a sploosh weakness. And it got worse with the clear dappler dualies.But only good dualies users are impossible to beat (in solo combat).

Splatoon has a heavy shooter bias. Having no range spells weakness against brushes, inkjet, dualies, rollers... basically anything.

I was thinking presentation would be more like how the developers use the sounds and graphics, and how far they actually go with it's style. Like with Splatoon, the game is very light hearted, yet urban with lots of references to Japanese city culture, while a game like Mordau is more basic with it's presentation as it has elements of being a medieval game but doesn't do much to make it feel like a real medieval battle outside it's weaponary.

How would it cheapen it? All the regular gear would vastly outnumber it, and gear as a whole is lot of weird things to begin with like knight helmets or worker's clothes or just a little ankle bracelet. It's really easy to clean that up though. You have 45 seconds usually to do that, so that's free special meter charge. At least, Ive never had a problem with it unless the match was already a roll against us anyway.

You know, it's funny. My favorite weapon in Splatoon 1 was the Mini Splatling, so when Splat 2 first came out and I unlocked it, I used it almost exclusively for like two months after. And now, 2 years later at the end, after shifting back and forth through all my other weapons and never finding one that I liked, I went back to it

Best strategy in salmon is to lure the bosses to the basket to get the eggs faster. Freelancers usually kill everything at the shore, making it take longer to bring the eggs in and sometimes causing the run to fail due to running out of time. He was trying to communicate to people to stay at the top of the map on Ark Polaris near the basket so they wouldn't lose
