basically just massive amounts of seething and coping that most unreal engine based games will be epic store exclusives

The gameplay is depthless and the humour is cringe. It's just running around unloading into bullet-sponges that put up no challenge and being hooked, like a crack addict, onto hoping you get a marginal improvement drop that is nothing more but a stack stick to make the bullet sponges a little less spongey so you can proceed to listen to more cringe dialogue and story-telling.

Its not about cowardice. Its about me being extremely angry and bitter. I refuse to kill myself if my death benefits anyone in some way. I don't want people to feel sorry for my parents or siblings instead of feeling sorry for ME.

I had enough of every single couple being fag in the previous games

Ive love both the games alot, and probably have at least a thousand hours between 360 and pc, but the games jave ALOT of flaws.
Bosses have always been terrible, scaling has always sucked, some characters either make the game to easy or are so bad theyre unplayable, dialogue sucks, pacing sucks, unskippable cutscenes, Burch in general, and alot of other minor stuff tends to bog the game down if youre not going into it with a bit of hype and knoweldge of the series.
That being said, kreig is the best VH, lilith is a massive cunt and theyre either going to retcon that or make her a marie sue in 3 and rip in peice scooter, died as he lived, going fast and tearing ass.

I like how Handsome Jack is the hero and Lilith is the actual villain of the series, who orders and has carried out an execution by firing squad of a comrade who gave her an honest report on her actions. Once you realize it you can connect the dots back all the way to BL1, she's genuinely the worst person in the main cast by a massive margin.

I loved the grandma Tourgue quest, that was totally not tedious and boring at all.
Also i loved all the slaughter domes, that kept with the series standard of giving shit loot that totally wasn't worth the effort.
Also bloodsplosion is fucking hilarious when it procs right and is alot of fun, it sucks that all explosives just proc the explosion buff, not the gun buff on kreig.
And jack was a great villian until they decided they needed to make him more unlikably before the final boss. He shouldve been the good guy.

EXTREMELY unpopular opinion, but I don't mind the humor. It's really bad but I like it that way. Also it's just generally a fun game, especially if you have a friend or two to goof around with. Still though, fuck Randy and Epic.

he's surprisingly versatile. leveling is great because his grenade buffs with Fastball means you one shot LITERALLY EVERYTHING, he get good mileage out of a lot of guns because splash/grenade buffs, and you can even do cool shit like manually proc your kill skills.

The first game is an okay first attempt at something, the second games fixes some of the gameplay issues and ruins the setting and characters. It also happens to be made by Gearbox, the scummiest small scale dev I know of.

To be fair the game was made by 2k Australia, which shut down because of how shit they were at their jobs.
Also australia is pretty hard left, they have 20 ft crocs their and still let the government have their guns.

I've tried playing the first Borderlands and quit cause it was just so repetitive and dull. I gave the second game a shot years later and it seemed much better, but also still repetitive and I got bored again. Those are the only ones I've played and I doubt 3 is going to anything mind blowing.

One thing that pissed me off is that the animations seem to be so lazily made, especially when it comes to the character skills. I dunno, there really needs to be more depth and variety in the gameplay, but I doubt that will happen.
