Is there no way out of here? Did I just get trapped on the second level?

Why would they make a trap that doesnt trap people
You'll figure it out eventually.
I have faith in you.
Well I don't play many retro games so I'm still trying to get into the mindset of gamers back then. I like the hardcore aspects like having no hud or tutorials or anything but I'm used to so many modern games where they would never design a trap like this where you just need to reload a save.
So I assume there's no way out then yes? Should I be saving often?
push your brain to think harder
Try pulling on that gray square. I'm going to guess it is a block in the wall.
You're not doing this to troll me right? I am legit missing something then?
There's something that stands out in the room. Just push yourself to keep playing.
You need to reload your save. A lot of retro games including Tomb Raider always have traps that require you to restart the game.
Hopefully you've learned to save often by now. If not, start doing it. You'll need to reload your save and pray you don't fall into that trap again.
desu you have to have a high iq to play these type of games
You can't be serious.
thanks user, it worked. I had done this before and she put her hands up but for some reason I didn't think to move after that.
I won't ask for anymore help and will try getting through the rest of this game by myself using my minimal brain power
thanks lads
I'm proud of you for not giving up, seriously.

One more pic from OP. I'm really impressed with this game. One more example proving graphics don't mean shit when something like this can look really cool to some zoomer in 2019
Yeah just wait until the fucking Dinosaurs show up at the end of the level
On the next level an alien spaceship will attack and it will be epic
If that "puzzle" got you stuck, I've got some bad news for you
I like your determination, kid. Keep it up.
Dinosaur level is best level
I was a Tomb Raider virgin this past year or two too. You are not trapped.

Just wait until you get to the Greco-Roman themed areas.
was not bait, got my graphics options fixed too, looking even better now
wtf TR3 was nothing like this ad
Are you playing with the area music ques patched in? I think it makes a world of difference compared to the usual ongoing ambient environment noise the PC version of TR1 has.
>4:3 unstretched
>no texture filtering
>doesn't give up
based zoomer?
Right now I'm just getting ambient cave sounds. Every once in awhile a music track will start up but it doesn't last very long. That was the one thing I actually thought would have helped a lot was area music.
Any advice on patching it in? I'm using a patch called "unfinished business"
>I'm using a patch called "unfinished business"
I think you're already good to go.
TR1 didn't have much in the way of long-lasting music, just bits used for scripted events and scenic moments. You wouldn't hear the flavor tunes with a vanilla download from Steam or GoG.
Ok good stuff
The level design in the first game is so good.
Retard
he knew what he was saying. Just trying to be a faggot gatekeeper instead of helping someone out
Good luck finding that third cog
found it
