For the uninformed, capping the point respawns your entire team. The fewer teammates are alive, the faster you cap. Standing on a control point you already own marks you for death.

The problem isn't so much lack of coordination so much as it is that your team might as well not be playing at all. They are never where they should be and usually don't deal any damage. 1v1 engagements aren't the overwhelming majority of scenarios, if you're the designated carrier you are usually fighting a significant portion of the enemy team essentially by yourself.
