Name a flaw. You can't
Name a flaw. You can't
Not even as good as Bloodstained or any other Igavania for that matter.
Backtracking.
It's absurd non-linearity is its greatest strength and its greatest weakness.
Absolute Radiance and the Godmaster DLC
kek
Early game is a fucking drag and the platforming is mediocre
Upgrade grind ain't too fun either
Solid 7/10
Play dead cells
Too hard
its a 7 for me
boring middle combat
Eh, 6/10. Game is a drag to play
Floaty movement feels disgusting.
Silksong still isn't out yet.
Yikes
I got bored hitting the easy enemies a million times to kill them and dropped the game. I really tried to like it, but I felt like I was wasting my time.
Boring as fuck combat
The Enemy AI pretty abusable for most non boss enemies, and even some bosses.
There is also the everpresent fact that a Good chunk of the charms are just useless, not even Niche
Basic as hell combat.
And I love this game.
Lot of visual clutter and Nail Arts are useless
Unironically git gud.
I was shaking when I reached the last stage of absolute radiance in the pantheon of hallownest.
I started playing videogames with Rastan, Black Dragon and Shinobi, and Hollow Knight is hands down my favorite game ever.
- Felt more like a dark souls in 2D
- Combat is too basic compared to bloodstained
- Even curse of the moon is still more fun to play than hollow knight
I can give you that hollow knight has kino moments though
It's a bit slow to play until you get the dash ability, at which point your movement options begin snowballing.
It kinda sucks how some of the warrior spirits feel integrated with the world, while others feel completely unconnected and effectively non-canon.
Godmaster content is stupidly obtuse to reach, seems wierd to need a guide just to reach DLC.
A couple of the entries in the Hunter's Journal are really unfun to complete, such as the non-infected Mosskin in Greenpath. They have like 3 spawn points with at most 2 of them in the area at once, all relatively far from benches, and require 25 fucking kills to complete in the Journal.
Spell builds are a little too powerful, while nail arts are basically worthless outside of slight damage optimization against already-easy bosses.
Nail arts and Spells serve the purpose of making the fight faster once you already know how to do it.
Or you can be ass and just use the Fluke Shotgun setup
The DLC was designed to be "indistinguishable from the main game for any newcomer"
Since they were free updates after all
You're right I can't, the game is absolutely perfect. Retards who says otherwise are just contrarian or shills trying to promote their own games.
That has nothing to do with what I said.
I don't think it feels out of place in the game, I just think it is far too obtuse to reach.
The only challenging platforming is in the white palace. Other than that its a 10 from me son
Based aussies.
I loathe Dark Souls DLCs because they feel self contained.
godmaster
>when you change the name and almost all the content in a dlc pack because a mobile app shares the name
Its literally a wall in the sewers, its not hard to find unless you completed the whole thing and dont feel the need to explore
This.
Shit's amazing that you can have access to probably 90% of the world once you get wall jump but at the same time this also means most of the things in that 90%, be it platforming or bosses or enemies, were designed with only wall jump and dash in mind.
Thankfully Silksong looks to be slightly remedying that already.
I feel like there was too much in there, with most of the places in the same area looking too similar. Should have just gone with a tighter experience. But still a good game.
Nail arts are great for the coliseum
Too many saws.
All the worst stuff of that DLC has been patched out. Uumuu was the worst offender though.
The biggest flaw I can think of is that foreground art can get in the way of what you're trying to see when playing. Only being able to see 15 frames of a 45 frame telegraph is Absolute Bullshit.
JESUS FUCK WHEN IS SILKSONG COMING OUT YOU UPSIDE DOWN AUSSIE TRASH
Why are some names censored?
Truly bluepilled
The cartoon bug designs and the moody everything else clash too heavily for me
Id give it 2-3 months
>dead cells
cringe and shit
Mixing on some of the voices is shit.
Objects can only be equipped on save points.
What's this retarted shit?
>"Early game is a fucking drag and the platforming is mediocre"
>recommends dead cells
Schizo
It's not an Igavania. Everything about it is more Metroid than Castlevania. Especially the map design.
Doma and Blupteespilled
this game is boring if you're a nailfag, almost no variety in physical attacks
Sorta a thing when the DLC was first coming out. Courtesy for spoilers.
Also, what the fuck, captcha?
>blue lake is just above city of tears
This game just keeps giving
>hard
Why is the Hive so small? Feels like it shouldve been an entire area
Because technically it's a sub-area to Kingdom's Edge.
It's an optional area.
its a bit boring
So whats the consensus on the outside world?
Its just full of regular bugs?
I think it suffered from time constraints, Hive Knight wasn't in until a later patch
Yeah actually I can. Pogoing is fucking overpowered and broken. So glad that shit isn’t in Silksong.
>raining in city of tear is causing by leakage on the ceiling
I was wondering why is it raining underground
Abilities are boring and played out.
What will replace saws in Silksong?
That stupid fucking pause when you get hit that screws up your momentum.
