I kinda liked Caesar III

im looking forward to it
I played the first one while stoned and it was one of the best vidya experiences I've had in recent memory.
on classic mode naturally. the voices suck

that actually looks fucking awesome

>Not sticking around for Brevon Kino
Dude saved the story.

not even chad brevon could save that trainwreck of a script. literally my little pony episode tier, that fluctuated violently into uncharacteristically dark moments every now and then.
gameplay flow and music was 10/10 but not even a time machine could save that story, they really just need to shut the fuck up and play

Yeah, it really isn't worth it. It was like they got all the Sonic-esque stuff down really good and they went "Well, we GOTTA try and do the story too".
Though the Mayor got me to crack a smile a few times. The bit where his soldier dug up a pile of snow so he'd be as tall as the other dude stands out.

Unavowed is an Urban Fantasy 90s throw back point-n-click adventure game with an engaging story and a lot of different choices and ways to play trough, so more replay value than normal.
I'm hoping it'll be a start of a series similar to the Blackwell games by the same author, it's definitely his best work so far.

I didnt care for the story, but its entirely skippable
chrono trigger art style and god tier gameplay. enjoy

watched my dad play this game for hours when i was a wee lad

i vaguely remember the story. I vividly remember the music and gameplay action and how well it all flowed together. the megaman x styled sprites and the music shifting the further into the level you got, along with the background getting more and more detailed as you played. it's quite an experience that very few games can emulate well

>100+ npcs you can talk to
>new world map lets you select any level you want
>new item system lets you make custom loadouts
>soundtrack will be more rock centric
can't fucking wait for it although gonna be hard to say it was worth all the delays

love point and clicks but almost every one i buy has a really lame story, ugly visuals, or is like 2 hours long
might pick this one up

>talking to npc's in your platformer
holy shit just make levels and throw me in

>100+ npcs you can talk to
Why?
Why would anyone see that as a positive?

hahahaha
my nigga

Isn't it weird how we were never oversaturated in Sonic clones? Just Freedom Planet and the two Spark games so far.

this. in fact, that is probably a negative considering how lame the voice acting/story was in FP1.

I just wanna run fast and platform to awesome music with cute characters

If the voice acting is on par with the first game it'd be quite enjoyable

Sarcasm or an enjoyment of something that's so bad it's good?

>Thinking they won't just have a Classic mode again
Yea Forums sure loves to bitch about shit before there's even a precedent set.

hard to monetize the fuck out of it. its a simple platform adventure that lasts like 3 hours if you know what you're doing. sonic was the same way.

thats time spent on useless characters nobody cares about that could have gone to making more levels or some shit

>on par with the first game
so you like bad things

i liked the characters, voice acting, and wirting in FP1. and no im not a furry

You greatly underestimate the power of furry autism, user. Sure, WE might not care, but there will be plenty of appeal to it.
Besides, if the game's another 20 dollar romp like the first one, who gives a fuck? If there's the same number of levels as the first with better controls (as showcased by the demo) and more characters, I'm already set.

I know, I'd rather the energy that was going into making 100+ npcs that only furry autists care about was going further into that for even a better game. But just as with the first one, they seemingly come so close yet are still so far away from perfection.

You're usually safe with the games by Wadjet Eye.
Even the lesser ones still tend to be better than a lot of modern efforts in the genre, and all but Shiva maybe will last you well over 2 hours, even if you use a walktrough.

They offloaded the basically autistic character creator and we're not getting a Lilac corruption arc and Lilac marrying Brevon because the rest of the studio were fed up with her BS.
I'll take the NPC chatter. It's better than what we could have got.

Why couldn't you save her?

Outside of recommendation threads and the occasional "atmosphere" threads, I don't see Rain World mentioned much anymore. I got into it recently and I'm having fun exploring the world and getting heart attacks every time an enemy that covers like 1/3 of the screen appears.

whats game pass
