I personally love it, although I didn't wait fourteen years for it so I think its pretty unbiased for me to say so.
Did you like Kingdom Hearts 3?

objectively, it's not too bad, a lot of it is padded bullshit but it at least is short enough to keep me entertained, and it's definitely not short of its flaws.
if we tlak about it taking 14 years to make and still being "ok" it's sort of bad.
It didn't take 14 years to make you absolute retard, the last entry in the series came out in 2012.
My expectations were very low which is why the game really surprised me with how good it was.
How low did they have to be for KH3 to impress, you'd have had to have hated the series before hand.
It was fun, but there isn't much replay value compared to the last game. It doesn't hold a candle to KH2's postgame.
I thought it was a great game.
It's flawed but I got a lot of fun out of it.
I hope KH4 (or whatever it's called) goes back to being simple and clean though. KH3 had too many plotlines to juggle, it was a fucking mess, especially at the end when they were resolving games-long character arcs left and right.
Yes, my second favorite in the series now. I was surprised because I honestly thought I wouldn't like it that much before release and was feeling prerty anxious about it. Turned out a lot better than I expected
Yes and no
>the story sucks, yet another sequel hook
>the voice acting and direction is so bad
>disney worlds are kind of meh, but they always are
>a lot of the music is reused from previous games
>the game play is fun though
It really didn't have that many, it's just that they put no effort into it and wrote it like garbage.
It's flawed but overall good. I don't know how someone can handle trash like Dream Drop Distance then turn around and call 3 bad.
Compared to previous games it absolutely did have that many. You're right that it could have been paced a lot better, but that would have required creating more non-Disney world content. It's clear they focused on the Disney worlds at the expense of everything else. Probably a mix of a rushed development and mandates by Disney.
HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT THIS POST.
Years ago (either 2014 or maybe even 2013 soon after KH3 was announced) someone on here posted this audio vocaroo.com
What I mean is it didn't have so much that it would have been hard to write well like you implied, it's just that Nomura took the absolute laziest route for all of them.
I'm probably one of the biggest KH fans out there which is precisely why my expectations were so low for KH3.
However your response tells me you likely didn't play it yourself and are parroting opinions.
I liked it
>I'm probably one of the biggest KH fans out there which is precisely why my expectations were so low for KH3.
This sentence makes no fucking sense.
>However your response tells me you likely didn't play it yourself and are parroting opinions.
Nigger I platinumed it, don't try and set up a strawman to shift eyes away from your poor taste.
I'm making an assumption based on your retarded reply, I don't give a fuck what you did or didn't do.
So you have no argument and are just angry that I called you out on your dumbass statement.
>you have poor taste for liking KH3
>I platinumed it
my favourite kingdom hearts
KH3 is underwhelming compared to the main previous games.
It would have been nice if Critical had been available from the start, it fixes most of my gameplay-related complaints but I'm not really in the mood to completely replay it.
Meanwhile if I said I dropped it you'd post some autistic wojack for that too in lieu of an actual argument, at least try and pretend you aren't just shitposting.
Felt very empty and stupid. Lost all charm the first game had. It was a solid 6/10. Which isn't enough for the amount of hype and time it had.
I expected it to be bad because there's no way the gameplay would be as tightly designed as KH2 because of how modern games are nowadays and there was so much to wrap up in terms of story I thought it would be a disorganised mess but it was actually handled pretty well.
You haven't called me out on anything you just don't like KH3 which is fine and I don't care.
>but it was actually handled pretty well.
Fucking how exactly? Everything was rushed to shit at the eleventh hour and was written like trash.
>Classic Kingdom
>Cuisine
>Frozen Slider
>Flash Tracer
>Gummiphone Photo Missions
>Flantastic Seven Missions
>Fruit Shot Mini game
>Verum Rex
>Festival Dance
Did anyone like the mini games?
t.zoomer
Zoomers hate KH3 though because their e-celebs told them to.
it's called an opinion, you want me to write you a fucking essay explaining the reasons why most of the character arcs were satisfying?
You're boring and not worth my time, try forming your own opinions in the future, bye retard.
hell no, they were busy work
I liked Verum Rex, but it shouldn't have been linked to Toy Story so we could get something actually movie related. Frozen Slider was fun while I was playing it but it needs a fucking map with previous run trails so you can see where you've already been.
I mean it's not like KH's minigames have ever been good.
The story is ass and shits on kh1 and 2 so much. Especially the parts with Roxas. Couldn't give much of a shit about the bbs trio's conclusion though
The gameplay was alright but I really would've preferred reaction commands and normal limits over random situation commands
The music was pretty good but not as great as the series' peaks
Graphically speaking the game is really impressive and I think with better world selection it could've had the best art direction of the series
Overall my biggest problem with the game was just the lack of any feeling of magic. It may sound like nostalgia bullshit, but I really felt like this game lacked any of the soul the old games had. Maybe it was knowing too much ahead of release because of all the trailers. I still platinum'd the game and will play the dlc because I still do love the series but I won't say I wasn't disappointed
>you want me to write you a fucking essay explaining the reasons why most of the character arcs were satisfying?
I want you to defend your shit taste and give me actual arguments instead of just "I didn't care so I wasn't disappointed".
I liked it but it could've been better.
There also was never this many.
Oh almost forgot to mention how disappointing the Winnie the Pooh world was. Those parts were my favorite in kh1 and kh2 but it felt so rushed this time around
I enjoyed it. Though I think Frozen’s world could’ve used some more work with the plot, and the ending felt a bit rushed. But overall it was a fun ride and I hope the DLC will be even more fun.
they were my favorite parts too
The archives don't go back that far unfortunately.
only morons actually spent that 14 years waiting.
Realistically speaking, I'd call KH3 the second best game in the series. It's definitely no KH2, but the gameplay is better than any other KH2 bar the former. I especially liked the Keyblade Transformations and the changes made in Critical Mode.
The story isn't too horrible either, but definitely could've underwent a restructuring or two since it lacks a midgame entirely when both numbered KH games had a pretty solid one (fighting the Opposite Armor and the 1000 Heartless Battle). The Disney Worlds ranged from A-Tier (Toy Story) to garbage (Frozen), but it seems like Normura and co. ran into resistance from the original creative teams (ESPECIALLY with Frozen). Scala is an interesting final dungeon, but was horribly underutilized.
Ultimately KH3 is a flawed game, but it's not a bad one. Hopefully the Re:Mind DLC makes some more positive changes.
Maybe Unpopular Opinion here:
All the cutscenes are fucking cringe and there are too many of them for too long. All of the characters are literally homosexual men talking about their feelings for like 20 hour cutscenes. I couldn't make it past Twilight Town
The whole game you're basically watching cutscenes with a bit of fighting in between.
