Nintendo Consoles are easy to emulate compared to consoles like PS3 which are very complex to emulate despite being years apart from the Switch.

I think emulation is great but I only really start taking advantage of them when the original console is really old. That way the emulator has matured, games are easier to find, and it'll run tons better.

RPCS3 development has slowed down but that's because all the easy things to fix have been down. Now it's just optimization and adding certain CPU/GPU modules that only a few games use.

I only really emulate older titles like N64 games and a Game boy game here and there.
I really don't bother with pirating modern titles because does it look that I want to face the risk of a virus? And I really don't give a flying fuck about the drifting issue, I just dumped the Joy Cons that came in the box and bought new ones. A year and a half later, I've yet to have any real problem with the new ones. So why the fuck should I give a flying fuck or any semblance of sympathy for those who jacked up their Joy Cons? Kind of, yes. I certainly understand emulating, but I don't understand paying for a product which does not even support the platform you're using. I'm all for giving devs money for a job well done on a game I enjoy, but if I'm going to support them (financially) I also want them to at least support the platform(s) I use.

Because they paid for access to an exclusive club, and they get pissy when other people manage to get the things they have without paying that expense as well. It's why fanboys get so pissy about games that were exclusive going multiplat.

Emulation is literally the #1 reason to be PC master race. With one machine you have access to the catalog of every game in existence pre-current gen, and there are so many games that have aged incredibly well.
