I thought about getting it cause I was looking for a fun multiplayer game I could enjoy from time to time. I cba with assfaggots or overwatch, so rocket league?
Is it dead?

It's packed (50k players). Very unique game that will give you hundreds or thousands of hours. Get it before it goes off Steam.

>Get it before it goes off Steam.
When's that? I thought I would wait for a sale.
Also, any dlc I need to get? Is it just cosmetics or any must have?

All cosmetic dlc except the batmobile has a unique hitbox shared with a loot box car.

the only dlc you might want is the flat batmobile and the dominus cause they're actually good car hitboxes. other than that no the octane is the meta car anyway
idk when its going off

Epic bought the studio, so it will be exclusive to their store starting sometime later this year. If you buy it on Steam beforehand, you can still access it through there. I've never purchased DLC but as far as I know it's all cosmetic. The replayability is nuts, so you will get your money even at full price. You can probably find a key discounted somewhere easily though.

How's the community? I heard its toxic?!

I remember this game when it came out. Stuff like this dies after at least six months so it's normal asf.

Are you sensitive? It's not bad at all and you can mute people. It's pretty funny to say WHAT A SAVE when your goalie fucks up.

>One of the top played games on Steam is dead

Nothing will be as packed as Fortnite, zoomer

I don't play games on my PC. There was a trailer for it on the Xbox store though.

>epic gays bought the studio that made rocket league
>probably going to move it to their shitty platform where it'll completely die
yikes!

>Are you sensitive?
I'm on Yea Forums, so yes
But as long as no one rage quits and I lose rating I can handle it.

I don't know why, considering I don't even play it, but I always thought that Rocket League is the perfect example of a competitive video game.
A competition that truly only works as a video game and is perfected in many ways.

That's why it's so easy to pour hundreds/thousands of hours into it.

Any news on exactly when it's going to Epic? I've been interested in this game for ages and i want to know if I've missed my chance to get it in a sale.

it's actually an incredibly fun game. i got it for free since i purchased a steam controller back when they came out.

truly felt the superiority of dualshock over xbox controller in this game
