lmao spare me. I've played plenty more games with more difficult combat than the witcher. the difference is that they were more fun than fighting anything in the TW3.

why do you love this game so much? I get the monsters are kinda cool, but the story is just too slow for me to drag myself through fights and fights with that garbage combat system, I played it for like 3 hours and I just wanted to play something with good gameplay like dark souls 3 or dmc5

Played it 4 times. Played W2 4 times as well, but that game is a lot more replayable.

I can confidently call it now - Witcher 3 is only good for 4 playthoughs. After that it is probably shit

if the writing and the face animations are the good bits, why are you not just watching a movie? probably gonna find even better writing and better graphics there, and you won't have to endure the crappy combat for 15 minutes to get a 2 minute cutscene and new directions

i akin it to a jrpg with actual consequences. if you let the witches eat the children the wife lives along with the rest of the village, if you help the witches kill the sprit the wife along with the baron and villagers die its not all black and wife just shades of grey. if you romance and cheat it comes back to bite you in the ass and they both dump you

Play them if you care about the lore, TW1 is a decent game on its own if you like the idea of running back and forth between city streets for 70% of its runtime.

You don't have to play the games "for teh combat" I'm just saying that stood out to me as remarkably shitty

The fact that you were already overwhelmed with the combat system only 3 hours into the game before you even unlock all the perks means that you are a brainlet shitter. Again just try a lower difficulty you will still enjoy it since its a story-driven game.
