It is a poorly thought out collection. I traded in some stuff to that game shop and they gave me a lot more credit than I expected. So I ended up with like 20 games that day. I don't think I would have Sonic Riders or Shadow the Hedgehog otherwise.
I don't have an Xbox One so I picked up Black on the PS2 to give it a shot. Although I didn't like what I played all that much.

If it's an option, physical really is the way to go. You truly "own" the game, can lend it to friends, and can even sell it. Digital is only worth it when there are no other options.

I've got over 600 physical games. I absolutely hate buying digital and refuse to unless there isn't any other way to get the game. I do PC game though and have over 300 games on Steam, some of them, games I already have physically elsewhere like the Resident Evil games. It sucks not having big box PC games, but there isn't much point since you don't own the game anyways on PC, unlike console where the discs are still useful.
My biggest collections are for the Gamecube, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii U and SNES. Haven't been able to pick up many games within in the last few years though, just newer ones when they go on sale or the occasional PS2 gem.

Sometimes I get Switch games physical cause of how little space my SD Card has on it already, but it's still mostly digital for me.

Back when PS3 first came out, the Game Stop near my house was starting to sell off PS2 games for cheap. Except one game: Quarantine.
It was still brand new and had been sitting in the store untouched for years because it was still going for full retail price and never dropped. Even years after the PS3 had been out the game still sat there at full price from launch. Had dust on it.
Asked if I could get the game for cheap since it was so old. The guy said sorry the price is the price.
One day I went in and it was finally gone, I was so mad because I was foolishly waiting for a price drop. This was in 2010.

Mercenaries 1 is definitely worth it. Of course, I haven't played it in several years so it might just be nostalgia talking, but i remember it's got lots of content. It was made on the ps2 during the Brown n bloom era though, lots of fog and rain and basically everything is a shade of brown or gray, but it's still really fun.
