Why the fuck would they kill a game in its second year of life?
What the fuck were they thinking?
I was about to buy a switch for this game
Why the fuck would they kill a game in its second year of life?
How dare they not stretch this game thin more and make it a "games as a service" product.
Why can't they be like DB Xenoverse and still be doing DLC 4 years after release with new characters such as Red Vegeta, and Blue Vegeta for $7.99
WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING
Because it's Nintendo's Call of Duty. The next one is coming next year, calling it.
There's more to the game than Splatfests.
It's made by the same team that does Animal Crossing. I don't think Splatoon 3 enters development until 2020 at the earliest.
>make it a "games as a service" product.
It already is.
One paid DLC expansion isn't games as a service
It's not killed retard.
5.0.0 patch comes out after the last splatfest. We can make OUR OWN SPLATFESTS AND HOST THEM
Ass vs tits when?
Selling a quarter of a games content for 60 dollars and dripfeeding said content for "free" is exactly what that is, user.
Fests aren't even really worth playing. The music and visual changes are nice but ranked is more fun. Turf war is shit.
There is still a lot of fun to be had with the game, but yeah I agree its kind of retarded
That's what they designed Splatoon as for the WiiU. They literally said that Splatoon is an experiment for a game as a service in Iwata Asks.
team ass and anyone else is wrong!
do it then. the only thing you'll miss out on is splatfests. Splatoon is still active and it's on a dead console noone bought.
the first game took less than a year to make. if they wanted they could shit out 3 in 6 months after AC
I could never get into Splatoon 2 as much as I did with 1.
I don't know, it just doesn't feel as engaging as the first game to me for some reason, or maybe I played the first game too much that I got burned out.
Splatoon 1 splatfests were much more memorable and the community was kinda more active and stuff. Splatoon 2 sort of just came and went in comparison.
Team Cut vs. Team Uncut!
>I don't know, it just doesn't feel as engaging as the first game to me for some reason, or maybe I played the first game too much that I got burned out.
There was no Miiverse in Splatoon 2
They already planned it was going to end at this month and day since the beginning of the game - it's written in an in-game billboard advertisement thing.
Agreed. Not even a salty Splatoonfag, I haven't played the game in months, but damn they're really killing it prematurely.
The only way to play online is through Nintendo's servers. It's already a game as a service.
Except it's just a private battle reskin you retard
