It was good for a while. As long as we're talking pre-7.0 dota, yeah, that's a pretty decent game.

I just don't see what they do that's supposed to be so uniquely bad any more, even back then the whole le evil empire stuff was a bit corny and overblown. Day 1 DLC is scummy and so are lootboxes but they don't have a monopoly on either of those. Plus they could've pulled a Nintendo and shut down OpenRA/CnCNet but they didn't, they even gave out RA2 and YR a while ago (not that I'm touching their shitty launcher with a barge pole)

Nintendo is lawful neutral at best. They don't do anything evil, but they don't do anything good either, which is the definition of neutral. CD Projekt is lawful good - not only do they advocate for and have been popularizing drm free games, which benefits consumers directly, but they also archive and fix old forgotten games that might otherwise become lost.

Valve is probably still neutral good, if only for standing up to Facebook's walled garden by keeping their VR platform open, which is important for the future of VR in general.
