She canonly ends up with Kyle who is the son of Stahn who's the only tales protag so far who has canonly gotten married in the series. I hope Destiny 2 gets translated one day, especially since the opening for it is one of my top fav in the series and more people need to appreciate true best girl Harold.
Reala is a good character but the fact that Rose is right after her is very shameful. I agree on her not usually ranking this high though and the only thing I can think of that might have affected this poll was if it was taken during her event with Elraine in Rays.

I can't keep myself to play Tales of Vesperia. I love the characters and hte world building, but the Combat is so bad it hurts. My attakcs keeps hitting nothing, Monster seems to have high invincibility frames, and that's a bigger issue with Overlimit (or how it's called in this game), as I keep losing precious seconds after I activate it and I send enemies around the combat zone. Are the other Tales like this one?

ToD2 is one of the most popular entries in Japan, and the romance between Reala and Kyle in that game is really, really strong compared to most other games in the series where the protagonists kind of fuck around, in ToD2 Reala and Kyle are just explicitly in love with each other and pretty blunt about it, the only other game that has this kind of romance is ToH, which is unsurprisingly similar to ToD2 in quite a few ways, except much less serious.
Reala is also cute as fuck, but I guess the mobage is mostly to blame since apparently they did push her quite a bit lately, same with a few other female characters like Sophie.

Usually not to Vesperia's degree, outside perhaps the 2D games which are more about reacting. The newest two, Zesteria and Berseria, are unclear when enemies will flinch, I just kept hacking away in Zesteria, though it might have something to do with the way the games handles elemental weaknesses.
Overlimit sends enemies flying in some other games. But the super slow easily whiffed normal hits are mostly a Vesperia thing, and figuring out "stun windows" is definitely easier in the older 3D games.

Innocence's cast outside of Ange is pretty retarded, R makes them a tiny bit better by rewriting a few parts to make most of the cast a bit less offensive, although Kongwai doesn't help and QQ is just kinda there, not to mention both are part of an ultimately unresolved bigger plot point about the Triverse.
It's one of those casts like Abyss where everyone is a dick and they hate each other for most of the game, so if you wanted some camaraderie or comfy casts, you started with the wrong game.
Consider playing Phantasia if you want a more orthodox JRPG cast.
Both Destiny games have great party dynamics and good characters in general, although Destiny has a few throwaway characters like Johnny and Destiny 2's cast is much smaller.
Eternia's a bit of a hit or miss for most people and party relationships are slightly more dramatic than average but not full cunt mode like Abyss, Rebirth is similar in that sense but the cast is more fleshed out.
Symphonia's Phantasia 2.0 but worse since there's some really shitty drama and most characters are pretty badly handed.
Symphonia 2 is a joke.
Legendia's...is a bit particular but one of the better casts in the series.
Graces has a very lighthearted, cartoony cast, most people hate it for that.
Hearts has a very lighthearted cast but I suggest playing R since they rewrote it a bit and made it better, Galad and Chalcedony also make the game much better than the original.
Vesperia is another Team Symphonia situation, see Symphonia, wildly overrated like all Team Symphonia games.
Xillia's kind of a mess, don't really know what they were thinking with this cast on the writing point of view, Alfin is probably one of the worst characters in the series despite being a good character on paper.
Xillia 2 is redeemed by Ludger's immense suffering

When Zesteria was being promoted, Alisha was the poster girl and was constantly used to advertise the game (In Japan), demo footage showcasing her, and them even announcing DLC costumes for her before release. And since you played Zest, im sure you know for how long Alisha even stays in the party. People were so upset, and the fact that it was known Baba had a huge boner for the VA of Rose, Baba was forced to shit out a DLC episode starring Alisha to pitifully prove he wasnt playing favoritism and that the game wasnt some type of stupid love letter to the VA.

According to the staff, Baba fucked up and thought that Alisha was the heroine and so promoted her as such when she wasn't. Then a bunch of waifufags saw her design and started to invent a personality for her, Baba didn't help matters by commissioning figures and other early merchandise for her, and hiring a popular idol to be her va. After Baba figured out that Alisha wasn't the MC he pushed Rose, but she wasn't the heroine either. But Alisha wasn't ever intended as the heroine and neither was Rose in fact that was Lailah and Mikleo- who staff also lowkey revealed are married to Sorey.

Combined with Alisha being promoted as the main (they even made a figure of her while Rose still lacks one) , everyone thought she wouldn't be as vital to both the story and gameplay until Alisha was pushed out of the party early game and awkwardly replaced with Rose.
