Metal Kings then breed them with a healer slime so you have invincible team that all know cure all and revive. Spotkings get good physical attacks. If you level them to max they get a percentage of the parents stats at birth so you can make any slime you want good. But only the gold and metal slimes will be immune to elemental magic

I forgot to mention the cool thing about DWM1 is that you can catch the bosses with 4+ sirloins. In 2 they are part of the story if they join you or not, but you can catch other trainers monsters in DWM2 if you find them roaming the overworld. Very cool games

Alternatively, some slime like the gelatinous cube are intentional creations by magicians who seek to automate the cleaning of their dungeons. the whole thing is slime that is sorta "drawn together". you know how water like pulls together into a rounder shape? sorta like that just with a much more gelatinous fluid. hence the blobby circular shape on most slimes. with slimes that can change shape i imagine it's like just using a lot of energy to hold that shape through an electrical system or something in its body.

so the history is that the deep red dye used for most berry flavors turned out to give rats vagina cancer. they had a brighter red to fall on but it was way too bright for raspberry. this scandal is why m&ms didnt have red ones until like the mid 80s, even though they used the safe brighter red. it was a big deal.
so they resorted to using a safe electric blue no one was really using for food. and to distance it just a bit more, they switched the flavor to closer match the black raspberry. i dont know why they did this and literally cannot find out why. ive looked. either that OR the dye itself affected the flavor profile and it closer matched the black raspberry. some blue raspberry stuff is just normal raspberry but its blue so you dont make the connection.
point is, its a real fruit flavor and not a combination

the current games on steam are 2 different series, the first is rorona > totori > meruru >lulua and the other is sophie > firis > Lydie & suelle. So either rorona's game or sophie's game. All of the games are pretty similar, the main difference is that rorona's trilogy has an overall time limit and forced story progression, while sophie's series has no time limit and lets you take as long as you want
the games are all 75% item gathering and crafting, 20% watching cutscenes, and 5% actually fighting things. And these fights are mostly won by what items and equipment you have made.
