Crash. I played the shit out of it as a child and have nothing but good memories, so of course the moment it became available on Steam I bought it in a heartbeat. But.. I don't know, I'm just not feeling it. I'm not really having fun at all, the same applies to all three games.

Red Dead Redemption desu
Its not that I hate it or anything, I just find that game design to be utterly mind-numbing.

FEAR 3

>game design
LE GAME DESIGN IN RDR IS OUTDATED (AND THAT'S A BAD THING)
So tired of you cucks

Tales of Vesperia

Just couldn't get back into it. Seemed a bit too grindy for me nowadays.

boy you sure are mad about his opinion

Mass Effect 1.
It's just such a slog to get through. Dialogue is so dull and long-winded. The missions take place in environments that are much too big without anything to keep your attention. Did you kill the geth? Oky go walk all the way over here and kill some more geth or husks or the occasional Krogan.

System Shock

The game design of any open world slog-fest is outdated, moron.
I only play beat 'em ups nowadays

I was about 13 when Sekiro came out. Now that I'm 22, I have a more objective view on a game's quality, and I can tell it just doesn't live up to the expectations that FromSoft's raised over the years.

Burgertime.

This, pretty much any platformer or game like that.

Assassin's Creed 2. Its insane how little I enjoy it compared to when it first came out. I used to free run around the cities and just soak up the atmosphere for twenty minutes at a time.

At the time I was like "wow, a Rockstar game I don't hate, impressive"
But now I see that I was fooled by the cowboy coat of paint. Rockstar is run by douches that never grew out of frat boy mindset

Smash for me.

I always hated Ezio as a character, that game ruined the franchise for me in so many ways.

Taz: Wanted. The concept for the game is cool, but it's executed so boringly now coming back to it as an adult. Some of the music is still great though:

HUHUHUHUHUHUH

twilight princess, as i've got older I actually enjoy WW more

DeadRising1.
All the annoyances feel like they've been multiplied.

I used to really love Ezio but replaying it I really cooled off on him too. He used to seem relatable and badass. Now he seems like a dumbass vapid tryhard. Guess I just grew up.

Drawn to life

Used to really love it when I was younger but the platforming sucks complete dick
Holding out hope for a reboot or something because the idea and the in game art is still great

I'm permanently burnt out on playing jRPGs, does that count?

mass effect 1
knights of the old republic
morrowind

basically I can't stand old western rpgs I loved as a kid I'm realizing

This guy said it best.

Oh, I just grew up in moonshine country so I was racist against the snobby Italian descendants of bootleggers

Kek fair enough

Sonic adventure 2
I bought it on xbox and on pc again despite knowing i didn't like it anymore, upsetting since i played it so much as a kid and had great memories of it

Croc. Who thought tank controls on a platformer were good and how did i enjoy it as a child

lots of soul though. just controls like shit

Sonic CD, though granted I still had fun in a "fuck this game is clunky and that makes it difficult" sort of way.

sonic adventure
but I still love to play sa2

Honest to god never happened to me. I'm 28 years old and still find enjoyment in pretty much every single game I liked when I was a kid, no exceptions. I still hate the same games as well, fuck Baldur's Gate, it's the same boring shit I remember back when I was like 10

You've become jaded

Just because they no longer like a game doesn't make them jaded shill-kun

Sonic Heroes.
I don't know what past me saw in that game.

Attached: sticker 5.png (252x224, 16K)

Oh god now I'm afraid to ever replay it. Croc was my favorite mascot platformer

Super Mario World. Played it for years as a kid, super nostalgic memories, but played it recently and found it dull as shit.

why would skynet give the T-800 a penis?

DUDE JUST DROP THE FUCKING BOMB ALREADY

I played the fuck out of Fallout 3 & New Vegas back in the day. Now I can't play them for more than 5 minutes before quitting and moving on to another game.

Most of those old PC RPGs are text dump snooze fests. Basically DnD for people so autistic they need to play it alone

Kinda this. Never played 1 but enjoyed it in the remake despite it's flaws and I still love 2 but those underwater and vehicle levels in 3 suck ass. Only the motorcycle stages are good.

Is that not part of the thread?

I liked Baldur's Gate the few times I've played because its such a refreshing departure from modern RPGs
Same

final fantasy tactics

Same here, I can still play my favorite games such as Half-Life, Little Big Adventure 2, Deus Ex, Psychonauts, PoP: Sands of Times. I must have played and finished those games at least 3 times.

Minecraft. I've tried several times this past year or so to get into it but I just can't find the motivation to sit and grind for resources or have a general idea of what I want to accomplish. I pretty much built everything I wanted to years ago back in high school and have been exposed to so many different types of styles of buildings.play styles that there hardly feels like there's any room to be creative in some way. It's not a bad game obviously, it's just the flame for it went out in me

Same, I spend most my high school days playing Alpha (then Beta), just building shit in online Classic and making a living in Survival.
Now I can only enjoy it if I'm doing Perma-death runs.

> I'm 28 years old
And there's your answer.
Wait another 20 years and get back to us.

If you're over fucking 30 and browse this place regularly you have either hit the jackpot or a sad excuse for a person

Same, user. I can't stomach the tropes anymore.

It's the latter. Where do you think you are?

Doom 3.
I still like the design style, but it feels like a chore to play now.

So that he can rape humanity both literally and figuratively

Call of Duty (Treyarch) Zombies. Friends played the shit out of Black ops 1 in 2010. Black ops 2 even more friends played and went back to complete Easter eggs. Black ops 3 was amazing but all friends but one were all gone but we found new friends to do EEs. BO4 was awful and finally last friend from 2010 left and now I can’t find motivation to play and instead I just play brain dead JRPGs and Rhythm games.

the first few levels are still very charming but i got quickly frustrated some part through the second world

put any amount of real precision and difficulty on the platforming and it's just genuinely hard to enjoy

>instead I just play brain dead JRPGs and Rhythm games.
Same, i still speak to my friends though, they just don't play any of the same stuff now, some of them still dont play pc

it's because they fucked up the physics and platforming

Mario Sunshine, there's just so much time wasting filler that isn't mildly interesting from a platforming perspective. I remember one sprite where you had to keep unclogging fruit from a pipe until you get the right one to make these tedious jumps, god help you if you needed a durian fruit. I just said fuck this.

Most people here are in between the ages of 15-25 with the majority being >21. Sorry shit ain't going well for you

I bought it on sale, I have never touch it XD

>with the majority being >21
Not true, there's a FUCKton of 18 yo here

Fuck.
Majority being

see
Typo

Oblivion. I used to spend hours dicking around in the Imperial City alone. I replayed it a couple of months ago to do the Knights of the Nine and I basically sped through it, barely roleplayed and did no other quests.

Attached: 1491532864210.jpg (500x373, 70K)

you're playing it sitting at a computer desk with a mouse/kb instead of on the floor in front of a tv with friends on a playstation

Mario 64

Loved it when i was a shitter.

Went back to it recently to find that its one of the worst optimised and tested games ive played in recent years. The gameplay is only fresh for 20 seconds and repeats those 20 seconds for the rest of the stage.

They released the creature creator separate for a reason.

Even the creature creator seems shit now. What i thought was a boundless god organism creation tool, is actually just 3d ms paint if you had limited paint.
