Have a chill day at the hot spring together before fighting your friend and mentor on the moon.

>oh hey sure would suck to fight a giant quadruped boss in an environment where you're constantly taking damage, huh?
Little me felt so cool beating this dickwad.

Is this one of the few games Yea Forums unanimously likes ?

Pokémon GSC aren't all that great, but that fight was damn memorable.

Also all rising boss fights were memorable, how the fuck did they do it

Ornstein literally did nothing wrong whatsoever and nobody can convince me otherwise, fuck Smough though

Not one of the top 5 Zelda games. Hell, it might even not be part of the 10 best Zelda games. But damn, that horseback battle was incredible as fuck.

it turns out that Platinum Games over the top boss design mechanics/over the top music combined with Kojima style characterization and quirkyness is a match made in heaven.

Forgetting all about me now huh?

Not sure if that counts, but the last argument against Godot in Trials and Tribulations, with the first Cornered theme coming back for this very specific occasion, gave me goosebumps.

Every boss in W101 except Ohdarko that stupid octopus is lame

This game is hype porn

maybe not exactly what you were looking for cause gameplay-wise you can just sidestep every single spell he shoots very easily but everything he said is memorable as fuck. The first time you hear him talk blew my mind, I wasn't expecting it at all. Really nice voicework too

Everyone's favorite chuuni waifu.

This is probably the most "worth playing just for that fight alone" boss I can think of

LIGHTNING BLADE LIGHT SPEAR

I can agree to that, MGS4 is a shit game in my opinion, but they nailed this fight.

I dunno man, if we're talking Bloodborne I feel like Ludwig meant more because of his story and contributions, or Orphan because the fight "arena" was baller as fuck.

I really didn't like TP overall but I'd love for them to bring back and refine the horseback combat.

>Maria
>Ludwig
>Orphan
>Gascoigne
>Gherman
>even Micolash and Rom, while lacking as fights, were insanely memorable for their presentation
All the meming about it being the best game ever or overrated or exclusivity shitposting sometimes makes me forget how much Bloodborne really knocked it out of the park.

you mean like in Breath of the Wild?

>so memorable that the game is worth playing just for that fight alone
A shitty boss fight can be memorable user.

Crash 3 doesn't get enough credit for how much it stepped up the bosses from 1 and 2. Especially Dingodile, best boss in the series.
>BREAK OUT THE BUTTA, WE'RE GONNA MAKE TOAST!

I wish El Goblino's fights were more challenging. He would have made for a fun recurring boss/rival but everything except the horseback battles was really fucking easy.

Japanes game the thread

Pic related and Lingering Will are the best bosses in the franchise.

I haven't played it since it came out so I could be wrong, but it didn't have mounted melee combat did it? I thought it only had basically the same mounted archery that's been around since N64 but with improved control of the horse. In TP it was almost like jousting at times, it was very easy but had a lot of potential to build on.

>similar moveset
>more or less stronger than you
>it's a rematch
>kick ass theme

Dude spoilers

All of his fights are great, but Vergil2 and Vergil3 are amazing.
