ok ko was never really thought to be more than a pilot, they struggled for a plot in S1 and after too much tropes they lost interested, so they are padding with crossovers and low hanging meme fruits.

TTG's overabundance is only a fraction of Cartoon Network's problems. A lot of original programming are way too safe now with Gumball being the only one pushing the edge, however with We Bare Bears being a merchandising giant the channel may still be too clean for a while longer. Also the fact that they only air new episodes of anything when other channels aren't having anything new that would draw away their young adult audience.
