I've honestly stopped coming here aside from the occasional visit. You can blame the newer "insults" getting stupider, emptier and more nonsensical over time as part of it I guess.

I've been training amiibos in ultimate. Theres something really special about teaching something and watching the fruits of your labor. It's much more complex in this game, so there's still so much to learn.

Different user, but I also love Dragon Quest III. It's one of my all-time favorites. I wish I understood how Horii manages to do it.

I started playing Dragon Quest Builders 2. I'm at the mining town chapter. Once I finish it I plan to spend a lot of time at my base just messing around. There's so many options it's hard to me to figure out what to do next and what to put where.

Oh man, I wanna play DQ Builders 1, the demo on Switch sold me. At 50 bucks though it's too spendy for me.

Can you sell me on DQIII? Really wanted to play it but got bored after the first dungeon.

It's a JRPG that manages to successfully balance creating a grand, fun adventure while still having moments of humanity throughout, a rarity in the medium. Many JRPGs focus on long-winded messages that can grow tedious, and other games can be cold in their pure focus on mechanics, but DQ III manages pull both of them off. The music is a delight, the best of Sugiyama's career. Despite how old and minimalistic it is the plot manages to surprise and affect you. I've always played the GBC version which has a personality test at the beginning, and it's always left a deep impression on me like no other game has. It's mechanically accessible yet still allows room for the player to think up their own strategies. It has a defined plot yet still stimulates the player's imagination. It's a nearly perfect game, really.

Tried it, people are too fake so I ended up with 1 friend, 1 low iq friend who is my friend because he can't tie his shoelaces without me (it's like those comedic duo cartoons where I'm the smarter one), 1 drinking buddy who will die soon of alcohol poisoning and bunch of co-workers and acquitances, and I still feel best at home alone.
