Is there a sadder song that this? All those good times with friends, reflected in every verse. That build up. Its all over. Tears me up.
Any other games that will make me feel like this when I beat them? Fuck, hurts my heart.

What this song even about? I know P4 song is about saying goodbye and P3 about door kun.

hell yeah

youtube.com/watch?v=SXYdgfXyYqs No faggot.

Its about carrying your teammates and experiences with you in your heart and saying goodbye to them. Lyrically.

Ironically enough it its sad as fuck for a happy end, the lyrics are sadder than the P4 ones

Ironically the 4 dancing game has the most fucked up ending song

Never More encapsulated this feel

Atlus is crazy i guess

user please
I try to forget

Persona 5 is probably the happiest of any SMT-related series I've played though.

You don't even die at the end or anything. Just happy times with your tomodachi.

P3, 4 and 5 characters can still whatsapp each other when they feel lonely.

P2 cast doesnt even remember their own game and the one that does is trapped in a doomsday scenario.

I feel like I’m the only person I know who didn’t feel anything when this game ended
For the life of me, I couldn’t give a fuck about the Phantom Thieves as characters aside from Ryuji and Yusuke
And I’ve beaten it twice but I really can’t remember any really powerful moments in confidants aside from any main man Toranosuke and Kawakami and Tae.
The thing I remember the most from this game are all the fun side-activities to do in Tokyo, thankfully P5R is doubling down on that
But I don’t know, P4 and P3 had a much stronger impact on me when I finished them

This fucking song man.

Played this game when I was a lonely 15 year old and it was probably the last time I got absolutely engulfed in a video game world and fell in love with the characters as if they were my closest friends. This song brings me right back.

23 now and wish I could go back to that simpler of a time. I can't even get into video game stories any more because life is just too real for me to be able to transport into another world.

That's just life and maturing I guess. One thing that remains constant is I KEEP COMING THE FUCK BACK TO THIS WEBSITE

This is how Persona 5 was for me, despite being 25 and having tons of friends. I just felt like I loved the characters. Didnt want it to end and I took it for granted the entire playthrough until I knew there was no coming back.

Depending on how far apart you played these games, you probably just grew up enough in life to not get as into the story as you got into P3 and P4. Happened with me too

>I can't even get into video game stories any more because life is just too real for me to be able to transport into another world.
Thats not maturing at all

>never more
>ATLUS gives us endless amounts of more P4 hijinks in the coming years
>golden remixes it into an upbeat song
Way to fucking ruin the atmosphere of the ending you fucks.

>P1 game is the darkest
>Ending and song are the happiest
youtube.com/watch?v=4RE6JuR3NI4

Not that guy, but at least Persona 5 has a happy ending and Joker gets to hang out with his friends even if he's moving away. At the end of Persona 3 MC just fucking dies. In a really sad way too. Really fucks you up.

...

I love how they perfectly convey the end of a journey and all of the emotions it carries. Every time I listen to any of the game endings i'm yelling NEVVAHAH MORRREE or I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU.

Fuck

Yeah, I was just out of high school when I played P4 for the first time. I basically was still an autistic sperg and P4 gave me an ideal image of what kinds of friendships I wanted to cultivate
I definitely think that was part of it.
But even beyond that, it seemed to me (and it might be my jadedness) that The Phantom Thieves weren’t really a holistic friend group like The Investigstion Squad were. Might just be my biases but I fee like I can describe the friendship between any two P4 party members pretty clearly whereas I can’t really do the same for the whole P5 cast
Incidentally, it seems like P5R is trying to address that a bit, even in small things like the animations for the combined attacks.

LISA: The Painful's ending and its music made me feel empty

well maybe it's not the reason I gave, I honestly don't know why i haven't been able to get into video games in a long long time; I figured that was the reason.

A counter argument against myself is that I have been able to really into the world of some shows and books. I guess I just need to change my mindset about games

youtube.com/watch?v=qcyBJaJ1V3c

I can see that
Each 3D Persona game basically has three parts: the overarching plot, the arc plots and the day-to-day stories
P3 has the strongest overarching story, P4 has the strongest writing for its sub arcs, and P5 has the strongest city/day-to-day stories in terms of the small, disconnected events you get

It didn't hurt that bad because I knew P5R was going to be an eventual thing, but hitting it again with P5R will probably hurt.

Man Shoji really missed the mark on the tone of the game and its soundtrack. Don't know why he didn't just do a remake of the original credits theme considering he wrote it.

GIVE ME MAYA

Persona 3 is much sadder
but much better
