In the first game you have an optional intro, with a tutorial on how combat worked, and after that you got a stand and the story was off from there, somewhat straight into the action.

Anybody thinks that the wiki is a bit incomplete? I don't know, many wikis give info about enemies and their stats, for example, and 7thSU doesn't even give detailed info about bosses

Just Take My Heart: a single shot infused with the life essence of the user. They die after firing it, but the resulting bullet is charged with something like Ripple and stays in the target's body. In the fight with DIO, Mr. BIG's user teams up with Kakyoin and during the timestop DIO wounds both of them. Kakyoin shoots the clock tower to warn them, Mr. BIG tags DIO in the leg with it. This slows DIO down at first, but he seems to regenerate from it completely. However, a shard of Mr. BIG's life essence stays embedded there, and at the very end when Jotaro punches DIO in the leg it shatters and is the reason why DIO fucking explodes.

Part 3 invented Stands and has lots of awesome fights, and batshit crazy pacing that keeps it from going too stale.

Worst for me will always be Part 6. As much as I like a few of the characters and especially Pucci, it's just the worst. The artwork is absolutely the worst of the series, the writing is insane and awful, and for a fighting series, there was only 3 fights I liked in the entire thing. It's not shocking Shonen Jump tried to force him to end the series, and thank god he went to a monthly schedule so he could make his artwork actually legible.

I really like lots of the stands in the game, but you can never go wrong with Caravan.

Personally, it's a tossup between Howlin' Wolf and Pharoah Sanders. Both get some of the best and memorable interactions in the game beyond being mid-range stands. Howlin' Wolf has a lot of fucking power while Pharoah Sanders makes up for its lack of it with the sheer utility of its lightning moves with various status effects. Will admit, Howlin' Wolf's low SP pool bothers me a lot.

Reqium stands have a power perfectly suited to the goal the user has at the moment they get hit with the arrow.

How exactly that manifests is up in the air, but its guaranteed to be perfect for that specific goal and is not constrained in anyway by the previous abilities of the stand.

Have you watched or read Part 3? If so, not really unless you do the submarine route. If not, there's a couple things that are a bit weird for a first playthrough. Like said though, Steel gives info on every area and what you should be doing for the main story.

Yeah I read and watched P3 so what happens in the main story shouldn't be a problem, I was just concerned about the side stuff.

You have to fight Overdrives, anyone who told you random battles would increase his FP is fucking retarded.

There are some hard parts but as long as you're not underleveled/understocked/trying to legit beat a boss that you're expected to run from/use Brainstorm on, you shouldn't be stuck much.
The one consistent bullshit is fighting against enemies that are prone to inflict status effects that can stunlock you.

Most bosses are immune to them, but not all. Yellow Temperance isn't, for example. They mostly exist to make grinding easier.

Yeah, End-game Miracles is pretty fucking great. If you can jack-up its stacks, it becomes easily one of the most powerful stands thanks to its moveset.

They literally cannot compete with its damage based stats down and its multiple opportunities to inflict stats effects. Hell,especially when you attempt to do certain bosses and will come to find out that they have resistances to your usual go-to stat effect like Berserk or Surge and it will never proc.

Also if you need a good AoE move Garland has Double Lariat. AoEs even, are just for trash mobs and generally speaking when your level is high enough,as long as it hits everything any AoE will do.
