All good games, yes, but you are doing a disservice to the genre to only list the most popular.
There are so many games that are outstanding horrors, most from the PS2, like Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Clocktower, Kuon and them Shinji Mikami games.

What exactly do you think survival horror inteils? Those are some of the most iconic survival horror game around. Look them up. They are listed as survival horror anywhere you look.

The horror genre topped with the release of silent hill 2, re4, fatal frame 2, and amnesia. Dead space while good, didn't do anything better than those games did. But since space horror is rarely explored I did enjoy it. REmake was good, but it was a remake.
