Yu-Gi-OH!

I recently bought Duelists of the Roses. What other Yu-Gi-Oh games are good. Do any of you still keep up with the Franchise?

I remember renting this as a kid. Shit was so kush.

I'm playing Tag Force 2 and 3, they're pretty great and don't have any of the nu-gi-oh content which makes them actually fun.

If you want some simple yu gi oh fun, the tag force franchise is great. For games that are up to date with the card game... No one, there's only some fan made online battle platforms because konami couldn't care less about yu gi oh

This game is amazing and I go and do a playthrough every now and again. The original aesthetic and atmosphere is kino and sadly is gone forever.

Literally Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution, it even has Master Rule 4.
Problem is, it's trash unless you want a game that's up to date with the card game and nothing else (especially since despite story mode being retellings of the anime you're stuck with MR4 and thus trying to play Link Monsters to fully utilize your Extra Deck even though you're playing from eras before that was a thing), and if you wanted that why not just play YGOPro for free anyway?

For someone who has never played any Yu-Gi-Oh game, watched the anime, or played the card game, what would be a good game to get into the series?

WCT 2006 is all you need. They actually followed the booster packs and it was the last game before the game got flooded with bullshit

Why would you want to start now? Honest question. The hype peaked about 16 years ago and the game/anime has been completely irrelevant since like 2007.

Yugioh has more players now. Tournament attendance has been increasing since 2012
