I was in highschool when I saw them, concert tickets were ridiculously expensive, even for near backrow tickets.

Just 3 tickets cost us like $1500. Only reason I went was because it's my dad's all time favorite album and one of his biggest wishes was to see Pink Floyd live, this being the absolute closest he could get.

My personal favorite is Red, but the Islands era of Crimson is probably my favorite lineup. They could really fucking tear it up live and they had the best versions of Schizoid Man by far.

Edge of Sanity's Crimson and Crimson II are pretty cool, at least composition-wise.

I think Greg lake is still their best singer overall but yeah, red, and their current lineup (which is phenomenal live), is 10/10

Only concerts I've been to are Rush & Joe Satriani, Clockwork Angels and Unstoppable Momentum tours respectively. Rush's stage was insane with a massive screen that played music videos, full short films, and cool visuals in general the entire time. Satriani was still the better show because it was a smaller theater and as such I was pretty close to him instead of in the nosebleeds. He played every song I hoped he would except one, and Crowd Chant as the encore was as fantastic an experience as I could've ever expected.

What was crazy about Satriani's show is that there was this point in the middle where he, the bassist, and the keyboard/rhythm guitar guy he had for that tour finished a song, put down their instruments, and left the stage for 5 or 6 minutes while the drummer just soloed, and it was fucking incredible, legitimately as good if not better than any of the drum solos at the Rush show (could be because I was a lot closer to be fair). He looked young too.
