First half is a great 2D platformer with a lot of soul. The second will kick your ass until you bleed from it and you need to collect all the cages to play the final level and see the ending.

Great game, cult classic, but Origins is unironically better.

What broke me wasn't so much finishing the levels but realising I had to 100% the whole game.

He's not lying about 2 and Legends is still quite critically acclaimed. Honestly, mainline Rayman has a stellar track record.
