Because it wasn't a shitty shonen series, it was an above average shonen series.
Don't listen to Yea Forumstards
it was pretty fun up until shippuden
Yeah, up until Shitpudding it actually had something resembling a plot, after it devolved into "power-level" anime
I quite enjoy the early bits and end bits of Shippuden. The middle is fucking horseshit, only the fight with Pain and Sasuka going full madlad are fun.
You’re right. It was a tremendously shitty shonen series.
That game sucked and I shit on your family.
It was better than the competition at the time.
Because it was popular and got so many so some were bound to be good. Any more stupid questions?
Because the games don't have the pacing and animation quality issues the main series suffers from. They also remove the power level issues the main series has, if they were to use the power levels from the show 99% of the roster would be useless. and that wouldn't be fun. This alone fixes lots of writing issues, it also makes Sakura feel like an useful character which is pretty big.
I should play this again

Still the best opening
pretty much this
just got revolution 2
the gameplay holds up but maybe get one with a bigger roster and two specials per character
prove me wrong faggot
Shonen is a garbage genre in general
Shippuden peaked with Pain

Based taste
you're probably right
shippuden never "peaked" since it's story never goes anywhere
there are some good fights and ideas but the series is trash and doesn't correlate with the original series at all
>large cast, majority who may as well be faceless backgrounds
>drops idea of "ninja" very quickly
>chuuni eye powers quickly take over the entire story
>shipuuden exists to completely debunk the main character's claim that fate and destiny aren't absolute
>"above average"
to be fair nearly all of these issues fall on shippuden, not the original run
