Go kill some cows, trains combat and also keep the cowhide, it sells for 100gp each, very useful for buying starting equipment and training crafting
Then start training mining at the Al-Kharid mine, till 40
Train Crafting till 40 and go to the Crafting Guild. You need 11300 gold ores to buy you a membership. It should take you around a week or two of grinding. Then as a member you can start to grind at the Motherlode Mine, which is a lot faster and gives more xp. And when you get to 75 mining, you can buy some dynamite with the gold you've been saving, go get 100% Lovakengj favour and start blast mining. It's around two weeks of mindless grinding but after that the game actually starts.

sense of progression in Runescape is kino, and there are so many ways of getting "better" that it really feels like you're unique. There are different ways of making gold, and not one of them is objectively better than the others. Most skills are kind of useless now because of ironman pandering drop tables.

Smithing for example is the most garbage crafting skill, 99 to make fucking level 40 chest bodies that slayer monsters drop constantly

Warding is a good idea, but it needs to come with an overhaul to the other crafting skills

Midi's required the developers to actually sit down and go "yeah, yeah, that sounds good" while the newer orchestral version is like "Okay, just copy paste all the notes, and use real instruments, not midi blips."

a couple of good quests. and then infinite grinding with no actual reward. your dopamine center basically shuts off after the breeze of the first couple of levels of each skill. each piece of gold you ever make is spent on more exp. there is basically zero multiplayer unless you want to "pvp", aka who has the best ahk scripts and a literal RNG fest about who hits the hardest. quit while you're ahead, this game isn't good for anything but wasting time and energy

I find PVP in runescape to give players much more control over their actions then other MMOs.

Especially since there are no healing class/role in runescape, and the fact that its a full loot PVP structure its much more interesting too, only other game that is remotely comparable is EVE, but unlike EVE OSRS has 1v1 PVP, where as EVE is all about the gangs

There's 3 types as well, regular ironman that restricts trade and many interactions, hardcore ironman that turns into regular ironman when you die for the first time, and ultimate ironman that doesn't let you use banks on top of the other regular ironman restrictions.

A comfy immersive experience when you're questing, but a tedious clicker-game when you're trying to max out your character. Runescape's weird as fuck because there's a huge 1000 hour gap between a mid-level account and end-game account, unless you can play 16 hours a day the game feels pointless after getting the quest cape.

I would mine iron to 30 and then motherlode mine my way to 75, where you can start blast mining after getting your Lovakengj favour to 100% which in total should take you around 30/40 hs but is highly profitable
