This is not an emulator, this is original Switch hardware (I bought it in November of 2018)
This has been occuring since summer began, back in May.
My house has no AC, so playing in docked mode is basically a no go, without melting it.
I'm basically complaining about Nintendo making such shit hardware. Even my Xbone and PS4 don't overheat, and they don't have proper ventilation

This isn't a widespread issue, you were just unlucky and got one of the rare defective systems. This happens with products from any company in any industry, and it's why warranties exist. Like everyone else said, just RMA the system.
