I want to kill whoever hyped this shit game
Look for path to treasure

you can thank the dev for doin it here, there's even some Yea Forums memes edited with this game's characters in it
>Yet another user falls for the shills on Yea Forums
Same with Hollow Knight, Bloodstained etc., they're all games with shit mechanics but get praised by the shills and incel brigade that faps to the porn
>but get praised by the shills
Shills but that is fantasy user
>look for path to treasure
Why?
chest are basically useless unless they are in a temple. game stops being fun when you have to grind rare resources from each part of a land.
>'rare' resources
it took me ten minutes tops to get all the mats I needed for endgame gear with the fucking lowest tier droprate. what the actual fuck are you smoking.
how does RNG work moron
I literally told retards that the game is hot garbage.
95% of all puzzles in the game just involve bouncing your bullets off of walls to hit switches.
I got 3/4 of the way through before dropping it and never picking it up again. It's bland as all fuck, it has an absolutely SHIT tier OST, the story drags on while not being engaging and the majority of what you'll be doing in the game is unironically looking for places to jump up cliffs to gain elevation and bouncing bullets off of walls.
More like how do combos work moron.
Hold an S rank and youll get all the rare drops you could ever need in one go
Crosscode & Hollow Knight are great tho. Bloodstained lived up to what it set to accomplish. These games are shilled for a reason. You don't like them? That's fine. You just have shit tastes. :^)
I liked it. It was charming and reminded me of the first time I played Secret of Mana. The meta story is also pretty neat and the music was very enjoyable. All in all it's a work of passion and it shows in the details. You're entitled to your opinion user but you can't blame the game for your completionist obsessions and how they derail you from enjoying a story.
wasn't there an "easy puzzle" mode made for people like you?
Hollow Knight is massively flawed, but Bloodstained is precisely what people wanted and paid for. It's probably the best metroidvania in recent memory.
Yet Hollow Knight is the best metroidvania of all time by a long shot.
I really, really liked CrossCode. It was my favorite game of 2018 even though I'm a massive DQ fanboy and XI came out that year, and it went straight into my top 10. I'm really looking forward to the postgame chapter, and I might try to get all the cheevos.
>Yet Hollow Knight is the best metroidvania of all time by a long shot.
Maybe if you only go by the visuals and mood. Because the game and level design is the worst part of that game. It's in fact borderline terribly amateurish in terms of design when it comes to almost everything.
Like with games like Cuphead, it's mostly style over substance.
Can you elaborate on Hollow Knights bad game and level design?
No.
Thought so.
I want to uncover Lea's chest tbqh.
Takes too long and your mind is already made up, so why bother? Every time I did that on Yea Forums I only got
>hurrr ur retrurded
replies.
But basically the biggest problems lies with the level design, boss design, entire map system, combat systems. Other problems like economy (and how the devs overvalue it) don't really get in the way of your enjoyment, but it's still something that's not well executed.
It's very clearly made by people that lack experience and understanding, leading them to implement things they don't really understand.
Even something "minor" like pushback on your attacks makes this abundantly clear. There is no reason for it to be there, yet it is and it only gets in the way, making it more tedious to play and overall far worse designed.
thanks for reminding me to pick this back up again
i left off after the chapter 5 because i kept trying to do every quest and it burned me out, think i'm just gonna say fuck the quests and go into the new areas
That's the right attitude to have really. Just do a few quests that seem really interesting and then move on with the main story after equipping your shit.
