Odyssey is really the only other choice but 2D Mario has way more widespread appeal than 3D just because the controls are much simpler without having to worry about a camera.

That sounds great, but if you Google flight costs, Southwest is one of the most expensive $600+ flights available. Kinda kills interest.

There was a special level already preloaded onto the consoles. Between that and story mode and just the general freakout of everyone being given consoles that should be fine entertainment for one flight from Dallas to San Diego.
