Small things you wish were in smash ultimate

I wish we got codecs but from Doc Louis on the boxing ring stage. There's so much potential there.

Dude I KNOW. They even say that they're in Brawl. Like I wish they delayed the released by like a month or so to fix issues with polish like that, it honestly makes me like the game a bit less.

absolutely fucking everything about the results screen is terrible

People love to say that this would work fantastically and I have to say it wouldn't. Not really a whole lot you can do with him, and I love Punch-Out. Smash Taunts only really work when the characters talk back. Doc would say one short quip and that's it. One, maybe two sentences long. Over before you could even get a good chuckle or start rolling your eyes. Snake's and Pit's had two different tones so people may end up preferring Snake's fish-out-of-water confusions versus Pit's happy-go-lucky trivia stuff, but what really made those Easter eggs shine was the fact that Snake and Pit both talk back and have chemistry with the characters they're asking for advice. Little Mac is mostly a mute, so Doc's coaching would amount to the following:
>Uh oh, the ref's throwing his hat in the ring. Watch out, Mario breaks bricks with his fists. While I break chocolate bars with my teeth. Haha!
>Remember Mac, when this sucka's fists start glowing purple, get ready to either get outta the way or counter.
>Join Clu-- I mean, My Nintendo today, Mac baby.
And that's about it. He pops in, quips, leaves. Over about as quickly as a quip from one of Mac's Taunts. That's who he is and that's fine, but that would have been an even bigger step down from Codec Calls than Palutena's Guidance was.

they still haven't fixed the faces either for the results screen, they still do that face swap thing instead of actually animating the models, it's so inconsistent, Ike in smash 4 had the best lip syncing i've seen ever in a smash game, and they got rid of it in ultimate. wtf?

I think a codec like thing would be cool for Banjo since Gruntilda is seen flying around the map. At the very least I hope she says ANYTHING, doesn't necessarily have to be a codec attributed to every character.

the character models are just all terrible in new smash.

I miss all the silly score modifiers from the early games for doing certain things like not taking damage. They were useless but fun.

You should be able to use any spirit as your battle icon.

Agree with , they should have updated the codec dialogue or left it out.

The bonus stage being the same for all characters in Classic Mode is lame.

Quite a few characters have lame alternate costumes, Sonic being the worst.

Villager with horns

I really wish the only mario world themed stage in the game kept the super mario world music that went with it in previous smash games. Now it only has a single mario world song while all the other mario stages get a whole array ofit.
Worst part is my brother is a big fan of smw and he alwayd had a smile onhis face whenever we played in that map but now that's not possible for literally no reason. The yoshi franchise's music doesn't even mesh well with it's aesthetic for fuck's sake.

Is a boss arena and a home-run contest too big? I'd want break the targets (not brawl style) and even board the platforms more, but those I can understand as being too much to qualify for this thread.
