Nintendo stopped feeding their employees drugs

This pisses me off the most because Nintendo objectively did child based horror the best. Luigi's Mansion was genuinely frightening on the GameCube, Metroid prime was my generation of Doom. As soon as they made the Wii everything went downhill. Everything became sterile and suddenly every Nintendo fanboy started to become disturbingly fanatic.. like if you played Nintendo back then that was just a preference but now you need to swear by Nintendo and defend everything they do. I hate this timeline.

I always thought this was odd, tatl acts completely oblivious to this despite being an accomplice to the skull kid. This means that the butler's son could only have been killed minutes after Link's adventure begins. The one person he couldn't save.

Arent there actually a ton of people you don't save? All sidequests are scrubbed when you rewind back time and you complete them so that you can collect the masks and acquire fierce deity Link to save everyone from immediate death, but you all of your sidework is undone.

I'm honestly 100% surprised they kept the Garo Masters Allahu Akbar in 3D. It's not even subtle.

The ending is a mindfuck imo. A skilled Link could do most of the quests but he'll always have to choose between kafei and the bomb ladi for example. One could argue that the ending is canon and he did save everyone. Still, the butler's son is the only victim he couldn't save once the game began. It makes for a bittersweet ending.

>"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s sequel reveal trailer is already drawing comparison’s to Majora’s Mask, even prompting comments from Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma. Speaking to IGN, Aonuma clarified that despite the dark atmosphere of the reveal trailer, Breath of the Wild‘s sequel won’t be related to Majora’s Mask. He even says that the sequel may not even be inspired by Majora’s Mask. However, he does acknowledge how dark the reveal trailer is, even going so far as saying it’s probably “a little darker” than Majora’s Mask."
Still we have to wait too see if it's true but I'm keeping my hopes up.

they ran out of shrooms

>DUDE THEY MUST HAVE BEEN ON DRUGS
Is this what uncreative retards and children think about when they don't understand something.

Jerky Ganon has me intriged but Aonuma has gone on record several times to being an idiot. His idea of dark is probably literally dark caves.

>Metroid prime was my generation of Doom
What did he mean by this?

>drug virgin

Sucks to be you

Aonuma isn't the director

I managed to do every major help mission in one 3 day cycle barring bomb lady. Except for the final temple's fairies. I never found all of them, so there's room to improve.

nothing's worse than fucking druggies. Not people who do drugs, because who hasn't at this point, but druggies. People who think everything is better with weed, only good on acid. "What were they smoking when they made this?" Creativity you dumb fuck, sure creative people can smoke but if you can only be creative while high you're as pathetic as the dirt you tread on.

That's good to hear but I hope this isn't just some trick to get me to buy the game.

At most I've been able to do all the fairies in a single cycle. Never really attempted to do that plus side quests, I feel like that would be stressful as all fuck, and that comes from someone who loves MM.

>Not people who do drugs, because who hasn't at this point, but druggies.
I haven't, fuck psychoactive garbage.

Oh it was super stressful. All bosses, most fairies, Anju and Kafei, the ranch, and zora eggs.

>His idea of dark is probably literally dark caves.
You post that as a sarcastic jab but that would actually be a really cool concept to include if they decided to pursue that. They haven't explored that concept since the original game where some rooms would be pitch black and you had to light the room with a candle while enemies honed in on you. Zelda games are also supposed to be partly about "dungeons" but the dungeons haven't felt oppressive since the 5th gen so it would be a nice addition if not a revolutionary one to have some dungeons that actually felt like oppressive dungeons and not like the inside of an Apple Genius Bar.

They will be back, full fucking force, in BotW2 is lich ganondorf and the beta concepts are anything to go by

I know we're talking about Zelda here but this post made me real bummed out about Dark Souls 2 all over again.

>Luigi's Mansion was genuinely frightening
lol
>Metroid prime was my generation of Doom
LOL
>Nintendo fanboy started to become disturbingly fanatic
What the fuck? Nintendo fanboys have ALWAYS been fanatics, right since the NES days

If they don't have these then BotW 2 is a missed opportunity

Couldn't save Goron ghost or Zora dude either.

Are we nightmare waifus now?

>Draw naked girl
>Give pussy full detail
>Color it blue
Look guys, she isn't naked, jannies have no power now.

>Link can't save him

Literally all the forms of link are dead

I guess that's the point of skin tight clothing. It's like being naked but clothed at the same time

No, it's something called a joke. I realize this may be a foreign concept to you due to autism.

If you listen carefully to the Divine Beast themes when you first enter them, you can hear an SOS morse code message play underneath the songs at the start, representing each Champion calling for help 100 years ago and never getting that help. The interesting part is that Vah Medoh’s SOS plays later than the others, signifying that Revali waited until the last moment to send an SOS, unwilling to admit defeat.

Reminder that Link's Awakening was literally influenced by Twin Peaks of all fucking things, and look what the remake did to it.

Could you imagine if Nintendo instead took a cue from the original designers? It would be one of the few times trying to make something more "Lynchian" would be appropriate.

You say that like it's a bad thing

This "joke" smells of rot even more than your fat useless bitch of a mother.

heard that too
I really love those hidden little secrets

Struck a nerve?

There's drawing inspiration for some themes, namely just the surreal nature of all the wacky cameos and the twist ending, and then there's making a shitty ripoff. No, I don't think making a game where a cartoon goat person is catfishing a dude with a hilariously obvious photo of Princess Peach was ever supposed to go all out with "Lynchian influences" and go into full surrealism instead of having a decent split of whiplash surrealism and tongue-in-cheek absurdism. Do you really think the original designers would think a remake that borrows much more heavily from Twin Peaks would have more "soul"? It's clearly supposed to have this cutesy and artificial exterior, everything too out-of-place to make sense in a Zelda game, and hit the player with a reality check at the end. It also didn't have the initial concept of going a Twink Peaks-like route, the developers mostly just messing around, and it just got molded into that as a way to bring it all together.
