I really liked it when it came out but never finished, have the remastered version sitting on my shelf
These fucking lips
I loved it. Even bought the remaster.
lazy PC port, driving sucks, cut scenes between cases are annoying, LA looks like trash, doesn't support library share, DRM, game is pretty overated.
Shoulfdi get the switch version?
Perhaps slightly under appreciated, but ultimately a severely flawed missed opportunity to make a good AAA detective game. NCG’s analysis is really good if you’ve not seen it.
Its probably one of the better detective games since it allows you to fuck up and accuse the wrong people... it doesn't really impact anything but at least you're not completely handheld and just reloaded or something.
Though it would have been nice if It didn't turn out that you were still wrong about most of them anyway, somehow
Exploring and investigating crime scenes was fun. Especially with the hints off, you gotta really comb an area.
The atmosphere, acting and story was all exactly what you want from Noir stories too.

It was fun to watch.
I like your ass

Congrats
i wonder how good it could have been if they hadn't maybe spent so much on the fancy shmancy facial capture and just used maybe more traditional mocap instead of having the cast sit down surrounded by 200 cameras. maybe they could have finished the game, i dunno. i didn't mind all the driving but maybe they could have toned that back and concentrated more on cases.
played it on pc, removed the frame cap, and played at 60 (really high fps breaks the physics) and it was even nicer than the first time around on 360. great music and atmosphere and for a video game decent acting even though they make the actors have super fucking obvious cheesy facial ticks. i wish bondi could have gotten their next game off the ground but oh well.
>super fucking obvious cheesy facial ticks
Some were worse than others...
I liked Cole
He had an interesting background in the war and I liked how almost all of his partners thought he was an annoying boy scout because of his persistence.
And props to him for getting that German side-pussy
Oh sorry fag, I'm too busy not paying to play online, please don't make a fool of yourself.
it's one of my favorite games too, check out James Ellroys LA Quartet book series. alot of the cases are and characters are based off his books.
It killed a studio of Australians
Played it at a friends house. I tried running over people with my car for 15 minutes, got bored as i watched pedestrians teleport away from my bumper, played the game until i got a gun, and turned it off once i realized i couldn't use it to kill random people. Bravo Rockstar
Oh shit thanks for that. Didn't know.
Based.
Let me add that the film L.A. Confidential is pure kino.
YOU'RE LYING, Morgan!
Based Irish police commissioner

You left leaning parasite. Do you expect me to sit here and listen to your drivel?
I rewatched that recently after reading the book and damn, is it worse. Except for based Dudley whom they captured really well, lad
the game's art style and slow gta-like movement/combat ruined the game
PLaying it right not. Excellent
