No games are aware, and the ones that pretend to be are shit.
>no games are aware
YET
Pretty much contact's gimmick
We'll need statistics on that I'm afraid.
If you just mean breaking the 4th wall, I liked the part in RDR2 where Arthur tells Marston to stop being like as if he were two people at once, with him responding that Arthur's the same, etc. etc. referring to both of them being player characters.
what a neat concept
Do not fug Nico.
>the kid fights back at the end
>you beat the shit out of him with the stylus
why did i sacrifice him? he just wanted to go home.
IPL has always done fourth wall breaking better than any other studio in the world. Pathologic is straight up in-fucking-genious in this regard.
Honorable mentions need to go to SpecOps's The Line, MGS2, and Max Payne.
Precious game. I always felt bad when I stopped playing it.
Stanley Parable is pretty good
Maken X, somewhat.
I want to fuck Niko
Too bad you are supposed to not vomit from the IPL "gameplay" long enough to appreciate this.
>Oneshot
You mean Oneshit
>OMG CUTE CAT PROTAG WALKING SIMULATOR XDDD AM I RIGHT FELLOW GAYMERS
You faggots are worse than zoomers that support garbage like Fortnite and gacha shit
>Spec Ops
it's short and free. i don't see the problem.
The only games that are mechanically weak in IPL's rooster are Pathologic 1 and Cargo.
The Void, Knock-Knock and Pathologic 2 are mechanically fairly solid, have a ton of complexity and clever ideas to them.
Killer is dead, pretty lame I only played it for the unicorn badge
Undertale is pretty "aware"
