Man Sonic Mania's musical direction in general is just too goddamned good, Tee Lopes matched Sega's own music department all on his own. I liked Ruby Delusions being used as a leitmotif for the Hard-Boiled Heavies and their own songs

Antasma gave me huge jobber vibes the whole game since they kept describing his power hinging on those wish-granting stones, then Bowser comes along and pushes him aside and says "nah faggot thanks for bringing me to the stones" and the cycle was complete
