Burnt out on the divison at about 25 or so. It's the same tired wave clear shit over and over.

Division 2 has been utterly boring on the gameplay front. Yeah there's neat set pieces you have firefights in but god dammit the actual gunplay is boring. The devs were so scared balancing the game they made all the sets near useless and seriously neutered gear perks.

Honestly, the real amazing story of this is that Bioware didn't get taken out back by EA. Wonder what it is about Bioware that keeps EA from killing them like every other company.

Considering that half of Anthem devs went on to work FUCKING SWTOR I have no hopes for Anthem. They literally decided it's better to save a old busted up undead MMO than their supposedly flagship game.

I got bored of anthem about a half hour into the open beta. Flew around for a few minutes and did a couple of the pop up missions, and couldn't even muster the give a shit to continue after I got another boring gun to compliment the boring guns I already had as a reward.
I know the word is overused, but it truly felt soulless to me. Like a generic action game that was farted out of some game dev AI machine.

The problem is the game throws loot at you all the time but most of it will be instantly trashed / sold.
And it's way too complicated, there are like 10 different layers of loot / skill / specialization mechanics you have to keep in mind all the time, so most of your time not fighting will be spent in your inventory or recalibrating everything. Divisionbuilder.com is basically mandatory at WT5 and it's one step away from making an excel.
Also there's no matchmaking for dark hours.

As far as looter shooters go, Division 2 is probably the best of them at the moment. Though that's not saying much as every looter post-Diablo 2 is inherently garbage.

Correction. The game throws USELESS loot at you all the time. When you're gunning for legendaries and get one per week and its another fucking duplicate, the game gets old.

That's because you hit WT5, and if you don't plan on doing the raid then you basically finished the game until the devs decide to add more content.
