LP2 was a coop shooter out of fukken nowhere. LP3 was an abomination unto gaming. Not sure what Capcom would do with the IP at this point.

What did you like about it? It was fucking dogshit. The entire game should be designed around going fast, but the new open world map does its best to stop Faith from going fast.

F.E.A.R. 3 effectively killed the series. The first game was a technical powerhouse for its time. The second had a severe case of consolitis, but wasn't bad from a play standpoint.

LittleBigPlanet and Wipeout are guaranteed to get new games next gen. Both were extremely success on the current gen.

Not really. Little Big Planet 3 was considered the worst in the series by most, and media molecule has stated they don't want to make new little big planet games because they became "over reliant" on the brand.
As far as Wipeout, the studio that makes them got shut down after 2048, and the only game since is another console handheld collection. Of the two though, it's the most likely to get another one.

Chromehounds is mostly playable on the Xenia/DX12 emulator, with a few bugs. One could in theory reverse engineer the server code from the game client, but it'd be difficult difficult lemon difficult.

1) It goes from turn based combat to real time 3rd person action. That's going to piss a lot of people off.
2) It's on the PSP which annoys even more people, and it uses the MonHun "claw grip" style of control which is a tough sell for most people
3) The combat itself is deceptive. You can't just run and gun and have to get into good positions, unload and dodge roll, except it works nothing like a 3rd person cover shooter and requires you to dive into different NPCs to manage weapons and ammo.
4) The upgrade system involves placing random drops onto a grid and getting semi-random results. If you want to min-max it, you'll have to reroll over and over again for the 0.1% chance of whatever.
5) The story is complicated, involving effectively time travel where you are reliving events from the past to try and stop a cataclysm that has already happened. And the end has two plot twists from the two endings. The first one upsets people so badly that they refuse to do the requirements to get the better ending and shitpost online about how bad the story is.

tl;dr there's a LOT to like about it, but it requires that you learn to love its mechanics. You can't go in expecting variations on stuff you've already seen, that just leads to frustration at it not behaving the way you want it to.

i picked up the trilogy on ps4 for a couple of shekels and was just going to play that because in the past i did some playthroughs on pc and some on ps3 so never imported saves all the way through from 1 to 2 to 3. ive played through the games a few times each but there are still choices ive never tried. on the other hand whatever choices i make there will still be the same shit ending and the mods would fix that problem. thanks for the suggestion i'll check them out.

In fairness technically it was total self-inflicted suicide for once. They pulled off the impossible and brought forward TA into the 00s in a fun way, and got a plenty solid following for a super ambitious RTS first release (around 1.5 million copies IIRC, which is completely respectable). But then Starcraft 2 sold whatever it was, 10mil, and they literally for real actually went WE WANT THE STARCRAFT AUDIENCE oh god why, and fucked SupCom 2 entirely. They drove away all their core fanbase AND naturally completely failed to take away blizzard's (duh) and fucked everything and then went out of business and went dead.

Fuck this gay earth but most of all fuck those management who couldn't be happy merely making plenty of steady profit in a (decent) niche (a really good 2nd probably could have pulled off 2-3 mil) but no, had to try to copy LE WOW KILLAH for RTS. Fucking stupid. I will always be mad though FAF has made it not quite as bad as it might have been bless that community.

I played ZoE because someone recommended it to me due to my love of Front Mission, Battletech, Mechwarrior, and Armored Core

Tbh many of the issues with BF started with dice doubling down on some of the good parts of BC2, to an extent that it just became retarded. Like the focus on infantry, even though BC2 had pretty good vehicle gameplay too.
