If it's about localization quality control of fairy tales, it's more likely that someone did a straight translation of the Japanese versions of famous fairy tales and didn't re-localize the specific terms.

One example that comes to mind is "Shiroyukihime", the Japanese name for Snow White. It's possible that the translator left it as Shiroyukihime, partially translated it as Princess Shiroyuki, fully translated it as White Snow Princess / Princess White Snow, instead of simply relocalizing it as Snow White. We don't say "princess" when referring to the character like Japan does. It reminds me of the Accel World debate with the character Kuroyukihime. It's not her actual name, but a name people call her. Literally "Black Snow Princess/Princess Snow Black", it would have been better to call her Snow Black. But there are plenty of people that would think calling her "Snow Black" instead of "Kuroyukihime" isn't a full accurate translation because every word isn't acknowledged in its Japanese order.

With fairytale names it depends on where it comes in. In a blatant fairytale use like SoA or Mary Skelter you'd localize them to their proper equivelents. Shiroyukihime to Snow White.
For MMO/isekai and content of that kind of style that isn't a blatant fairytale reference you'd keep the Japanese name. In the case of Accel World. Kuroyukihime would stay Kuroyukihime as it isn't a direct name copy of an existing fairytale.
