To be fair a PS1 mini isn't bad in concept, they just fucked up the execution. If it had 20 legitimate classics that defined the system and dualshock it would've been dope.

Cost. You wouldn't be able to make something that can emulate PS2 games for 100 bucks. Their only option would be to re-release a PS2 with built-in games.

Raspberry pi is like 30 bucks and does all that and lets me use whatever controller I want and can be a media center, and has very low power draw, and doesn't look like some faggy game console.

how's switch performance of PSP games? Actually, does it support them at all? I want to move on from my PSP, the batteries are starting to go and they're getting harder to find new ones that are decent sizes and also of good quality. I'm still working through my PSP backlog too so I can't drop it.

my local walmart has an instore deal for $25 since they've got a full palette of them just sitting loose in the electronics section. I'm surprised people haven't stolen them thinking they're the "new playstation" or some dumb shit. There were at least 80 entries on craigslist when the SNES and NES minis came out saying "NEW NINTENDO SYSTEM BRAND NEW NEW GAMES" and it just fucking confused me. crackheads are retarded.

half the games are in the wrong format. another half of games are erased from the roster.

No dino crisis or resident evil sequels. has less of a line up than the ps1 library on the eu psn.

huh. Why would you bother with that instead of an FMCB ps2 or ps3 to play ps1 games off a usb or some shit?

FMCB PS2 doesn't really work that well with ps1 games, PS1s are cheaper and easier to chip and PS1 emulation on PS3 is laggy.
