More like a lot of good games are stuck in a shitty console and people want to play them

I've really been getting in to the soundtrack since yesterday, and was just thinking 5 minutes ago that I would love a Switch port. I feel this game is underrated, but I also feel that way about Odyssey which I liked better. The aesthetic and design of 3D World are really wonderful.

I enjoyed the first one, I hope we get a sequel instead of a port, though.

Also the gameplay needs to be tuned a bit. It seems like I jumped off accidentally far more than I ever did in a traditional 2d or 3d mario game.

I wish the levels didn't have a timer, or at least had a far longer one. Maybe twice as long. There was almost never a challenge in beating any levels within time unless you decided you wanted to explore the level, but if you took your time and explored the level, suddenly you'd run out of time before you got anywhere near the flagpole. Either make the time an actual challenge or let me explore the levels.

Because Nintendo literally has no precedent to ever make new games from their existing IP's outside Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon. Why bother making a new Star Fox, a new F-Zero, or a new Golden Sun when those titles won't yeild the same success as Mario Party.

I always considered this game as the successor to the NSMB series and that the reason most people are salty about it is because it has 3D in the title which made them feel the need to compare it to SM64 and Sunshine when they are completely different kinds of games

I would rather just have a sequel. With Wario and Waluigi.

Because they saw that it was 3D and expected something in the school of 64, Sunshine, or Galaxy. They wanted a "proper" 3D Mario and were salty the Wii U wasn't getting one.
