New mission pack / map pack with episodes created by multiple map makers, it just came out and it's pretty good overall so I would check it out if you're looking for something new to play.

I haven't played it yet, but I certainly will. I enjoyed AD and some of the other mission packs quite a bit.

I just recently finished this game on nightmare mode and goddamn it was intense but a blast. It's one of the very few games that I feel is genuinely challenging as hell without ever being cheap or artificial, with MAYBE the exception of some of the booby traps. No hitscan enemies besides grunts, no endless enemy spawners, no impossible rooms without cover. The game keeps you on your toes but it all feels fair and satisfying as fuck.
I love every game in the Quake series but I have to say this is the one that I can replay immediately after beating it and not grow fatigued. How the fuck did they get it so right?
