It gets you banned
Why is that even a meme? Because of the anime? They keep repeating the effects of EVERY card, not just pot of greed
Pot of Sneed
Dispels all politically neutral cards
Get some cards, my dude.
Makes an onahole jar suddenly appear in front of you
I also listen to America First with Nick J. Fuentes.
it sucks your dick
kek
This joke got stale about 3-4 years ago.
Deletes two random threads.
BASED
more like pot of weed amirirte
i don't know but i gotta draw 2 cards quick!
I think it was some youtuber did a video about pot of greed on April Fools and retards kept saying that same line.
I'm sick of these faggy secondaries who don't even play the game or read the manga
Well that is even dumber
I like buster blader, is he good right now? I stopped playing a bit before synchros happened
ahem
fuck pendulum and FUCK link summons
What does konami have against keywords and bulleted effects?
The game could be 100x more readable and not require a mandatory magnifying glass in your deck box
In duel links, kind of. I think Red Eyes is one of the top decks so you can kinda fuck them if you play him or use a Synchro Version of him.
Jokes on you I activate MST and destroy Pot of Greed.
Pot of Greed was the card that got played the most.
Didn't the anime keep making bullshit effects up to help protagonists win their duels? I think that's the primary reason effects are so fucked right now
someone post the relinquished version of this
Its the most used card in the show, aside from polymerization. The difference is polymerization usually gets used like
>i use polymerization to fuse my X with my Y to create Z, winged mythical beast!
Or some variation of that, while pot of greed is 100% of the time
>I play the spell card, Pot of Greed(tm)! This card allows me to draw two (2) cards from my deck and place them in my hand!
Someone gave a reason like 2 months ago in a thread but it was a long discussion and I don't remember it
>Keywords
Timing makes this a pain in the ass, you'd need a bunch of keywords for "when this is sent to the graveyard" "when this is sent to the graveyard, you can" "if this is sent to the graveyard" and so on because they're all different and determine what happens in the chain and what cards can respond to these effects. At most you can merge when(mandatory) and if but when(you can) is still distinct.
>Bulleted effects
They do this rarely, more frequently in Japanese where cards with multiple effects you can activate are labeled with 1 and 2 and so forth, but they don't use line breaks to separate them anyway.
(Formerly Chuck's)
There is no valid reason
what a good game
No. The cards that helped protagonists out are often so situational with so many conditions that there's no point in running them in a real deck and there are very rare exceptions to this. Duels in real life are approximately nothing like duels in the anime, because of how much more of a premium is on actually decently constructed decks and plays that generate value. In contrast, decks in the anime are all over the place filled with nonbos and random things like small burn damage or burn damage evasion. Look at Jaden's list when you get some free time, the fucker has almost 100 cards in it, most of them one-ofs.
There is a buster blader synchro?
more support when ?
I mean you say this but they change cards between their anime versions and the physical versions all the time, the super hyped up almost invincible Egyptian faggots being the biggest case because they weren't even good when they first came out.
I can hear this webm
>you lose cause exodia use ur imagination lmao
In the GBA game the screen would fade to black and then fucking Exodia would appear to punch the fuck out of your life points.
>it's always better to go second because you can't attack on your first turn
Yeah legacy is bare bones cause konami doesnt care
He probably meant the fusion. Which paired with DNA surgery is very good.
Jaden has the power of precognition
Somebody summon the exodia already.
I can't fathom why the god cards haven't gotten a retrained version yet, something more akin to their anime counterparts.
guys is there actually a way to learn how to play yugioh or do you just have to sit and watch high-tier players play for hours and learn through osmosis?
Is the new game even coming out for PC?
Why on earth would you summon exodia, user? They're limited to one-ofs that you need in your hand in order for their effects and are shitty vanillas that have horrible stats.
>try to duel in competitive for the first time in ten years
>opponent's turn takes baffling five minutes to be over
>summons seven monsters in one turn
>shuffles his deck over nine times
>uses more than 12 cards in one turn
>midway through it I get really bored and start looking up my phone, waiting for that mess to end
When did Yugioh turn into a single player game?

posting this
This is less funny when you remember that that Rare Hunter's whole gimmick was that his deck was nothing but Exodia pieces.
I'm guessing you just pick up and play. Learn what each card does as you encounter it repeatedly and in a few years you'll know what it's all about, develop strats and be really good at this card game
...
holy based
I mean...he IS the Supreme King and not some random fuck with a sword.
It mills your own deck, is useful if you want to lose the duel by not being able to draw any more cards, truly a masterful tactic to steal the victory from your opponent by killing yourself honorably.
When Yata came out.
>you'd need a bunch of keywords for "when this is sent to the graveyard" "when this is sent to the graveyard, you can" "if this is sent to the graveyard" and so on
You could represent that as follows:
1)
1a)
2)
2a)
2ab)
etc so that if, say, 1 activates, then you can go to 1a. It also seperates 1 and 2. I don't know ygo well, so I don't feel confident actually attempting to apply it to a card, but someone competent might be able to see how this would work out.
Oh, and as an aside, if you need multiple effects to activate, you could say something like:
1)
2)
1+2)
or something, if they weren't listed as alphanumerics already (being stuff like "1a)")
Hey now, True Exodia exists so maybe he's trying to meme win with that card.
Yugioh really isn't hard to understand, you read cards and think about what they say literally and you'll get it 99% of the time. The wording is all very specific for a reason. Eventually you pick up on easy to notice key differences like what targets and doesn't target, what destroys and what sends, and all that. At that point you just have to understand how to play card games in general. Yugioh is all about comboing and having outs and support ready since the greatest limiting factor in keeping your turn going is what cards you have in your hand.
>I don't know ygo well,
Oh don't worry, it shows.
Fucking this, I just got back into the game and I try playing people on Duel Nexus but I always give up because I never ever get to fucking play. They end up playing solitaire with their deck and I type in the chat that I'm not rage quitting or anything but I genuinely would like to play as well and I just don't see it happening. I distinctly remember there was one time where I was able to go first and the fucker chains so much to everything I did and his responses that he took more time on my turn than I was able to myself.
They can't even compete with all the new cards.
Pot of Seeth
It isnt ur bad
goat format is always gonna be around, and it's still genuinely fun
>the greedy pot
I don't know why but that shit made me burst out laughing
