isn't that a better price than the mini consoles?
bittboy v3 is >30.00 USD and can run tons of emulators fairly well for such a price. I've even gotten castlevania sotn running on it.
like snoy?
how well did that turn out?
Is Nintendo literally the only one who fucking sold their shit under $100?
nah, Sega too
(and other things nobody cares about like Atari Flashbacks & C64 mini)
Shut the fuck up.
>Bonks Adventure
>Keith Courage in Alpha Zone
>Legendary Axe
Ill pick it up if these are in.
I'm thinking about getting a genesis mini when it releases
What are the chances of it being easily hackable to add more roms like the snes mini?
i'll buy it when it's $10
maybe
probably not
>he buys mini consoles for the built in roms and emulation
Of those only Bonk is
>No Galaga 90
>No Final Soldier
>No Cotton
I'm not a Penis Engine expert or anything but I am a shmup fan would have liked these in.
>no Ys 4
What's the point?
Yea i just looked it up. Its not even Bonks Adventure. Its the sequel. Why the fuck do they include the sequel and not the first game. Its DOA.
First game is on there in Japanese
I stand corrected. thanks user. still not getting it though.
I hate to be that guy but I see your address, bro. Your name too.
These are just collectors items that can also play games. What's big deal? Some people just want a little miniature Super Nintendo. Quit acting like a smarmy faggot because you think you're a genius for emulating
I mean, did this thing actually have more than 50 games?
It's not even really 50 because you're getting both English and Japanese roms for some games and they're counted separately for some reason.
>PC Engine mini
>Only turn based RPG is Necromancer. No Burai, no Emerald Dragon, no Tenshi no Uta, no Cosmic Fantasy, no motherfucking Tengai Makyou 2 the best selling game on the system
>No SRPGs at all (Langrisser, Vasteel 2, Rouga, etc.)
>No Princess Maker or clones (PM1, PM2, Debut, Gradutation, etc.)
>No Yuna or other digital comics
>Only Falcom game is Ys 1&2. No Legend of Heroes, no Xanadu, no Sorcerian
>No Namco titles
>No Masaya titles
>No Telenet titles
This is gonna flop in Japan
Sup Nick
Which is stupid as the TG-16 was known as a shmup heaven back in those days. Other than the shooters they basically only had Bonk and the TG-CD RPGs.
Too expensive. DOA for sure.
It should cost 60€ max.
50€ would be great.
At 40€ it would sell like hotcakes.
Nobody will pay 100€ for 50 Roms on a console they have no nostalgia for. Especially with half the games being in Moon.
What a giant fuck up.

Probably a stock photo showing how ordering looks like.
This. Launched at 100€ and I bought it for 22€ 5 months later kek
Seen it on clearance for 19.99 the other day. I should pick one up just for collector's sake. Still kick myself for never getting a Virtual Boy when stores were desperate to get rid of them.
I'm still hoping for an n64 classic to be announced by Nintendo, n64 emulation still has it's issues to this day for certain games. Then again, most of them are rare games so they probably won't even be included anyway.
An N64 Classic would just be the Io Virtual Console selection again. Forget about anything other than those 20ish games.
I like to think they'd include something more than that, otherwise they know it won't sell. Just look at the snes classic, they threw in starfox 2 in there which nobody expected, but it was just the thing to bring in all the customers.
i'd say its worth it for the 2 USB controllers. then again I just love more controllers to hook up to my computer
*Turbo Tap sold separately
Those exact emulation issues are what's holding it back, no 'mini'-sized device on an ARM chip can do it justice yet. Nintendo presumably have the resources to build a new emulator from scratch but it's a lot of man hours to put in for some shit they'll sell for $40 or something.
ROMS on a FlashCart play perfectly on original N64 hardware?
Snatcher is on it, Watch it sell millions
Not him but you do know that all these mini edition consoles are basically emulators and roms tied up into a neat looking package right? None of them are actually using original hardware to run those games, it would be a million times less cost effective to go with hardware that hasn't been in production by any tech company for decades now.
Fuck off Nicholas
>NES/SNES Mini $80
>Genesis Mini $80
>PS Classic bargain binned into $20 or less
>A fucking Wii $50
No
how is the bittboy? im tempted to get that PocketGo just to have for random emulation, since i cant be bothered to get the stuff to make that MintyPi build
So double the roms of the Nintendo classics?
