>but lets be honest
If I am to be honest I think you are a fucking worthless zoomer faggot and you should get the fuck off MY board

yikes, knew it would get buttblasted reactions from the 30 yo, I can stomach old graphics easily, but not with this brown, grey, black color pallet

Skyrim.

no amount of mods is going to make this game playable for you, there I saved you time, you should be thankful

looking for a rpg with lots of build variety and exploration, I don't care about flashy shit combat, stop being a stuck up retarded boomer, you people are just as bad as the ADD zoomerbrains

Skyrim would be more your speed as the user above me suggested

I have played both gothics more than you all elder scrolls combined, try me with something else

Are you literally incapable of functioning without spouting memes for 30 seconds?

The only necessary mods are MGXE to fix resolution, FoV, and get some better draw distance, and the code patch to fix a lot of bugs. Everything else is really just up to your tastes. Morrowind is a really fun game right out of the box unlike Bethesda's newer titles

OpenMW is pretty essential on modern PCs and also includes alot of bug fixes. Would also recommend patchforpurists which fixes even more bugs and does not modify any game mechanics like one of the other major bug fix patches does.

stop lying kid, if you played Gothic you wouldnt have any problem playing vanilla Morrowind

just replying with an adequate post quality

get the following mods:

assfuck mod
XtraBig-Cocksv2
Lolimod3.5
shitting_and_pissing mod
extra races mod
extra races mod (massive penis addon)

Morrowind Code Patch for bugfixes
One of the graphics overhaul thingies if you want fancy grafix. I haven't played in years and can't remember what I used last time but there's 3 of them in the top 5 of nexusmods.

not into that kind of fun

thanks, pretty easy to figure out that bugfixes are going to be necessary, don't really care about overhauls as much as just not seeing muddy textures, something to give them a bit of sharpness, but that's easy to figure out

gothic, especially gothic 2 has aged much better

-Rebirth
-MSGO
-Tamriel rebuilt (if you want more exploration)
-Apel rain replacer

looks great, thanks

I replayed Morrowind a shitton of times and i'm playing it with Rebirth,i'm pleased at how they made it difficult to steal valuable stuff, the enemies are also way harder to deal with.

Don't listen to this man, his advice is awful. Rebrith is not meant for first time players and MGSO is fucking terrible.

Use this github.com/Tyler799/Morrowind-2019/blob/master/Morrowind_2019.md

I honestly think Rebirth is amazing aside from some stupid balance changes. The way it changes towns is incredible, it's difficult to go back to vanillla Ebonheart after playing Rebirth. The only thing I disliked about Rebirth is it goes way overboard with the "difficulty" come raiding the Citadels of Dagoth Ur.

>dude just put 11 Ascended Sleepers in every room lmao

I just read that the overhaul is buggy and outdated

I'm going through this for the first time and it's pretty fun in vanilla, I don't feel it needs any mods. The only mod I'm using is MGEXE to play on widescreen and with higher draw distance, but then I toned down the draw distance because the world had started to feel small.

OpenMW
Patch for Purists
Delayed DB Attack V2
Solstheim Rumor Fix - Fixed

Graphics mods are subjective, but you really want at least these mods, even for a "vanilla" run. You can also use MGE-XE and the Morrowind Code Patch in place of OpenMW, but OpenMW is really good. Better performance and basically no crashes compared to the vanilla engine in my experience.

It is.

Follow the github guide, just stay away from MGSO and Rebirth. Rebirth is good but it's meant for experienced players looking for something new.

I recommend Delay Darkbrotherhood: Player's Choice over V2. At the beginning of the game you can manually set when you want them to appear. I always choose "After main quest". Unless DDB does this, but it didn't from my experience with it.

be prepared to be very disappointed

Another user beat me to it.

It is

Morrowind was always far inferior to Gothic 2.

Has very unique world and sweet lore though.

- is not an RPG

fpbp
kys op just play the fucking game faggot

>90 people in Solitude
I think you pressed the 0 key too by accident.

you don't need mods

Yes you do. Long time Morrowind players really tend to forget how the game looks vanilla.

patch for purists

Gothic games are much easier to get into than morrowind dude

did I do good?

you dont need hand to hand
mercantile is also useless since you will be swimming in gold mid-game

I can believe it because of the amount of filler NPC's in the blue palace, bards college, and keep. NPC's that have one line and serve no purpose.

acrobatics, athletics, hand-to-hand, block, mercantile
all wasted slots except maybe athletics but i just chug fatigue potions when travelling until i get azuras star and summon golden saint

just go raid a saltrice farm and a kwama egg mine and u have fatigue potions for days

Say it with me: MORROWIND CODE PATCH!
No seriously, it has saved me many headaches

>NPCs that serve no purpose

You talk8ng about Skyrim or Morrowind here?

>using mods the first time you play a game
I will never understand why people would want to do this. You dont want to experience the game, the first time, as it actually is?

It seemed to be a bit more common to think that mods inherently make a game better. People who played VtMB used to more often say the plus patch mod did nothing but improve the game, but now it's more common to find people saying it does a lot of dumb shit and you should at least play vanilla your first time.

I guess Morrowind had the same problem which is why someone made the patch for purists. The only thing you should be using is a bugfix patch your first time.
