Prove me right – protip: that's the only reasonable argument. >Sandbox world with an economy (gathering, crafting, and trading). >Competitive player vs. player. >Rewarding, persistent aspects of gameplay, such as strategy, intensity, and (thus) fun.
>go to bed or work or anything >base gets raided by some no-life NEETS Wow, so fun

OP is a spamming schizo

"Logistics" is a huge aspect of strategy, and territorial skillfulness. >Various boxes / vaults around, especially in the ocean, etc.
A). Calling a few posts here and there spamming suggests you're here *a lot*. B). Calling somebody schizo though they're making posts way more interesting / important than plausibly anything you're doing is really gross.
Kayden Ross
I am here a lot. no one finds your posts interesting, you never actually engage with anyone.
Caleb Sanders
It's anonymous.
Sebastian Ross
and no anonymous users reply to your posts constructively. people just call you obtuse, creepy and say you're spamming
Lincoln Scott
Vaults in the ocean are pointless if the objects to break into them dont cost significantly more. If the items to break into them cost significantly more, people will just spam them so you waste your resources trying to guess the lucky vault.
Christian Ortiz
You're projecting so many things that are actually mysterious, because there are constructive posts.
It's about having hidden / well-secured storage.

>go to work for a day, but get paid for it >come home to a game I bought and do actual work without getting paid for it This is dumb, it's grinding personified with a little gameplay. What an awful trend this has become.
Evan Cruz
That's a strawman.
It's gameplay, with roles, and thus (those aspects of) immersion, etc.
Colton Sanchez
I hope you don't personally consider Ark a good representative.
>Hundred plus tames! Maybe 20 are helpful! Maybe 10 are necessary! >Spend hours of risking your gameplay time and resources to acquire a big Dino so that a sperg with a compound bow or rifle can kill it from outside its reach while you're not around! >Appreciate the dedication of developers who've fully realized banning the folks who report cheating too often is an easier and faster way to reduce complaints about cheating! >Enjoy the experience of a game who started its own season pass up before it even hit it's own 1.0 update! >Bask in the gameplay loop of grinding to the top and either losing everything in the half an hour you weren't around to defend OR spend the rest of your server wipe punching downwards forever. >Live the experience of knowing that even if you are a competent player no amount of skill trumps the fact that the Admin is bored and your clan wasn't sucking his dick with the same intensity as the crybaby you raided.
I did enjoy Ark for a while, but it's a shitty game. The genre itself right now is basically shit. If one game was gonna stand out it'd be Rust. I found the loop of "Acquire -> Spend -> Acquire" to feel more reasonable there. Probably helped because it lacks gimmicks like pet taming and fantasy horseshit.

How many creatures are really beneficial is sorta extraneous. Many games are of a meta …
But some notables are … •Snow Owl >AOE healing, really beneficial for PvEing (e.g., OSDs), and overall simply keeping tames HP up throughout various challenges; is also beneficial for exploration (healing for it, and the rider, countering negative effects from eating raw meat, and being amongst certain environments). >On 3x (Small Tribes), 00:10:01 (with simply-available raw mutton).
•Managarmr >Some of the most efficient for PvPing tames; but IceBreath is great for so much more, especially vs. Wyverns when gathering eggs. >00:35:33
That's not an answer Hidden >Lmao there's a vault to so and so in the ocean! >Even solo retards can break into it Well secured >Your base gets offlined >If your defenses are dead, it doesn't matter what's 15 more c4 Etc The only defense in these sort of games are meme bases that can't be conventionally sieges like those on the sides of cliffs or places behind waterfalls that choke point you against a turret wall.
Jaxson Gonzalez
… •Doed (crystal; electronics) •Anky (metal) •Argy (carrying those and other creatures; some weight reduction for many resources; a mobile crafting smithy)
•[Basically any of the carnivores for gathering meat, which sorta wins that argument]. •Giga (various world activities) •Rex (arenas) •Theriz (huge gathering effectiveness)
>Hours of investing in risks Most tames are really simple, even moreso with quality equipment.
(Status is different now that Ext exists.)
>DLC before officially launching This is such a petty criticism. It's even of the better designs / experiences for maps.
>Administration Official. (End of argument).
Things coming and going is reasonable now that [Titans on legendary OSDs] is an option.
Furthermore, getting BPs and/or resources is really simple now anyway, especially amongst groups. >Ragnarok desert crates. >Ragnarok ice-cave crates.
Teams are far too small in most of those types of games these days desu, there should absolutely be custom games allowed but by default the majority of servers should preallocate players to given teams, so there will inherently be people on at all hours.
Foxhole is a pretty good example of this, you can pick your team once per reset and are locked in for the entire round.
I like how nothing you said is related at all to my reply.
Cooper Powell
Small teams are better than large teams I find. Much harder to siege with just six guys because one guy being on will ruin your siege with proper turret coverage because he can comp bow your stegos or trikes, or rifle your quetzal.
Landon Nguyen
Dude, just let him be schizo. Clearly your point was proven. Just move on, you can't stop and talk to every bum on the street
Asher Gonzalez
I just don't get this retard and I want to know
Jayden Powell
I love these games but if you're not on a small privately owned server with friends theres really no point. If you dont have clear pvp rules like official wars or a purge time or something then you'll just get raided when you're offline using some dumb exploit and lose hundreds of hours of progress.
Jayden Gomez
Explain.

We already saw why this is a bad idea in Mortal Online. >Christmas Eve >everyone with their families >bunch of mad lads tell their families to fuck off and get online >spend the entire night and Christmas morning destroying hundreds of hours worth of buildings and progress by other clans >Merry Christmas
